Con Man premieres exclusively on Vimeo On Demand today. Three new episodes of the series will premiere every Wednesday for four weeks. Con Man is now available to rent for $14.99 at Vimeo.com/OnDemand/ConMan . Con Man centers on the post-show life of Wray Nerely ( Alan Tudyk ) the co-star of “Spectrum,” a sci-fi series, which was canceled before its time and went on to become a cult classic beloved by fans. Wray’s good friend, Jack Moore ( Nathan Fillion ) starred as the series Captain and has gone on to become a major celebrity, while Wray (Tudyk) hasn’t found his desired level of stardom. Wray is the begrudging guest of sci-fi conventions, comic book store appearances, and different pop culture events; however, everything is not as it seems from the outside. The series will explore these events and all the weird and crazy things that happen to them along the way. Con Man also features a plethora of Sci-Fi’s biggest personalities including: Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica), A

20 Images From Arrow Season 2

We get to see another side of Oliver Queen ( Stephen Amell ) in some new pics from Arrow season two, as well as the introduction of former Firefly star Summer Glau . Glau (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Firefly) will be joining the series as businesswoman Isabel Rochev, who will become partners with Oliver to help run Queen Consolidated. Up until this point, Oliver has been too preoccupied with kicking ass to do much business — so it’ll be interesting to see him try to balance both worlds in season two. Very Batman-like, if you think about it. We also get to see the old gang back together, with Diggle, Felicity, Roy and Thea making an appearance. We even get a few shots of island action, with Slade and Shado mentoring young island Oliver. Though new shows are debuting left and right, we still have to wait until Wednesday, Oct. 9 See all the images after the Jump... Please Leave A Comment- Sour

Summer Glau Joins CW's ARROW

Firefly and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star Summer Glau has booked a recurring role on The CW's breakout action drama toplined by Stephen Amell , The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Glau will play the "enigmatically beautiful" and "dangerous" Isabel Rochev , vp acquisitions at Stellmoor International, a company looking to take over Queen Consolidated. She will first appear in the premiere. On Arrow, not much is known of Isabel, except as part of a list of names in Robert Queen's book of corrupt and powerful people in Starling City. (In the DC Comics universe, the villainous Isabel — who appears in several Green Arrow issues — rose from being a slave to running Queen Industries, with the desire to return the company back to its former glory.) Arrow — which began production earlier this week — has already introduced a slew of DC Comics characters, including Deadshot ( Michael Rowe ), China White ( Kelly Hu ), Malcolm Merlyn ( John Barrow

Will Sarah Connor Return In Terminator 5?

When Sarah Connor ( Linda Hamilton ) was thanklessly killed off in barely a single passing line in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines , it was a crushing blow to us fans of the series. And so it was for Terminator 5 director Justin Lin, who may be planning to bring her back. ''Sarah Connor is such a big part of the franchise, you know,'' Lin said in an interview with Moviehole . ''Yeah, I mean, I've always been surprised how in part 3 [Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines] she was just like ... It was like one line and she was gone.'' This is the rest of the exchange: Clint: She was dead, yeah, yeah. It was insulting, yeah. Lin: Yeah, like leukemia and ... But I think the great thing about this franchise is you have ... You can actually have different canons because you have the element of time travel. So, there's a way of kind of respecting all the works but also able to create a new time line. Clint: That's right. You can go back a

NBC's The Cape Is Over

It looks like The Cape is done. After struggling in the ratings since it premiered, and NBC cutting the show's episode order from 13 to 10 episodes, the network has decided to run The Cape's final original episode only online sometime later this month . NBC had planned to air the last two episodes, nine and 10, of the comic-book-inspired series last Monday, after postponing the relaunch of The Event to March 7. However, the network decided instead to air an original Chuck in its normal timeslot and finish off The Cape's on-air run with episode nine, " Razor ." This decision certainly comes about due to the falling ratings The Cape has suffered since the series premiered. On Monday, the show could only manage 4.09 million viewers with 1.2 ratings for adults 18-40. That made it one of the lowest-rated network shows still on the air. Regarding the move to show the final episode online only, NBC announced on its website, "Flash: The creators of The Cape a

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD Review By: Jason Albrecht

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse DVD Review By: Jason Albrecht Picking up where Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (SB:PE) left off, SB:A is much more interesting then it’s predecessor SB:PE . Unlike in SB:PE, the heroes actually face forces that put them in peril. It’s fun! Lots of action! Some great choreographed fight scenes! Some kick down brawls that leave devastation in their wake!! The voice acting is almost spot on. The Trinity of DC heroes are voiced by veterans of the characters: Kevin Conroy reprises his role as the Dark Knight like he did so well throughout Batman The Animated Series (B:TAS) and Justice League incarnations. Tim Daly is back as Superman as he was during Superman the Animated Series (S:TAS). Susan Eisenberg is Wonder Woman as she was during Justice League and JLU! You also have Summer Glau as Kara/Supergirl and Ed Asner as Granny Goodness (which he nails every time he plays her!). Where they failed (and it really disappointed me) in the casting was Darkseid

Summer Glau Joins Cast Of The Knights Of Badassdom

Summer Glau Joins Cast Of The Knights Of Badassdom Actress Summer Glau has been cast in The Knights of Badassdom , an upcoming movie from director Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2: Dead End). Glau is the first female actor to join the odd-sounding horror comedy, which follows a group of LARPers (live-action role players) who somehow manage to mix it up with what are described as "heavy metal demons," according to Bleeding Cool . The cast already includes Peter Dinklage , Danny Pudi , Steve Zahn and True Blood's Ryan Kwanten . We love the Texas-born Glau, who's well known to audiences for her role as River Tam in both the Firefly TV series and its follow-up movie, Serenity, as well as for playing a deadly female Terminator in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She's also had recurring roles in Dollhouse and The 4400 and has been cast in NBC's upcoming midseason superhero drama The Cape . But though the exotic-looking, somewhat mysterious Glau is quite popu

Summer Glau To Wear A Cape In Upcoming TV Show On NBC

Summer Glau To Wear A Cape In Upcoming TV Show On NBC Summer Glau will be playing the lead role in an upcoming super hero-themed show "The Cape" on NBC. Let's just hope Joss Whedon isn't attached to the project, as we know in the past (Firefly,Dollhouse) was canceled by Fox. Glau has also starred in Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" also. In the pilot, directed by Simon West, a former cop (David Lyons) is set up as a criminal and becomes a masked hero, the Cape, to clear his name.
Glau will play Orwell, a cute and intrepid investigative blogger who fearlessly goes after corrupt cops and costumed bad guys. And yes, she gets physical and is quite capable of kicking ass. Please Leave A Comment- Source- THR
