HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES Trailer Starring @ElleFanning

From the raucous dual imaginations of fantasy laureate Neil Gaiman (“American Gods,” CORALINE) and glam-rock multi-hyphenate John Cameron Mitchell (HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, SHORTBUS) comes the electrifying and singular pop extravaganza film, HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES . Enn ( Alex Sharp ) is a shy suburban London teenager in 1977, sneaking out with his best friends to after-hours punk parties. One night they stumble upon a bizarre gathering of sexy teenagers who seem like they are from another planet. In fact, they are from another planet, visiting Earth to complete a mysterious rite of passage. That doesn’t stop Enn from falling madly in love with Zan ( Elle Fanning ), a beautiful and rebellious alien teenager who, despite her allegiance to her strange colony, is fascinated by Enn. Together they embark on a delirious adventure through the kinetic punk rock world of 1970s London, inadvertently setting off a series of events that will lead to the ultimate showdown of punks

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Leaves Neil Gaiman's Sandman

The unfortunate constant running through the efforts of filmmakers to adapt Neil Gaiman's Sandman graphic novels has been a revolving door of writers, directors, producers and studios. The project is undergoing another switch, as Joseph Gordon-Levitt has left the version he was developing with New Line. Despite this representing a clear passion project for the actor/producer, who set his version up in 2013 and had hoped to direct and star in the eventual movie, he's hit Facebook to announce that he decided to move on a while ago. "A few months ago, I came to realize that the folks at New Line and I just don't see eye to eye on what makes Sandman special, and what a film adaptation could/should be," the pertinent portion of his post reads. "So unfortunately, I decided to remove myself from the project. I wish nothing but the best for the team moving forward." The move followed Warners moving all the developing films adapted from DC's Vertigo

Tom Hiddleston Wanted For The Sandman

After years of wallowing in believed-unfilmable development hell, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman appears to be creeping closer to actually hitting screens in the hands of David S. Goyer, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and The Fades’ Jack Thorne. But just who should play the iconic central figure, Morpheus? According to Gaiman, Tom Hiddleston could be a good shout. While the author – who is also a producer on the film – seriously considered Benedict “ubiquitous” Cumberbatch, the actor is a little busy conquering every genre role under the sun, including Marvel’s Doctor Strange. "It's a funny thing with Morpheus, says Gaiman. “Again, it's that thing where you look around and think, 'Yes this person would be a fantastic person', and then time passes. "There was a time Johnny Depp would've been a great Morpheus, but now he's too old and it's fine. I think the first time I saw Benedict was as Sherlock Holmes, I thought, 'wow, that's incredibly Morpheus'

"Kick-Ass" Director Matthew Vaughn Wants To Get His Hands On "Sandman"

"Kick-Ass" Director Matthew Vaughn Wants To Get His Hands On "Sandman" Matthew Vaughn's in a unique position with some of comics' most popular talents. That's why when he talks ideas for future projects, fans listen. In an interview with Comic Book Resources, Vaughn spoke openly on his appreciation of realistic comics, praising both his "Kick-Ass" and "Stardust" collaborators and stating that Gaiman deserves to have more of his work translated to film. "I think it's weird that hardly any Neil Gaiman stuff has been made. The idea that no one has made 'Sandman' yet is weird," said Vaughn. The Sandman's main character is Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, who is essentially the anthropomorphic personification of dreams. At the start of the series, Morpheus is captured by an occult ritual and held prisoner for 70 years. Morpheus escapes in the modern day and, after revenging himself upon his captors, sets about rebui
