Jeff Goldblum Returning To Jurassic Park

THR is reporting Jeff Goldblum is returning to the land of dinosaurs. The actor, who co-starred in 1993's Jurassic Park and 1997's The Lost World: Jurassic Park , will appear in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s next Jurassic World film. J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is directing the next installment in the studio's hit franchise. Jurassic World earned $1.67 billion worldwide in 2015 and is the fourth-highest-grossing film in history. Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are returning for the sequel, which also stars Justice Smith, James Cromwell and Toby Jones. Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, wrote the script for the follow-up with Derek Connolly. The film is slated for release on June 22, 2018. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again join executive producers Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow in the next chapter of the franchise. Belén Atienza is also producing. Jurassic World Sequel Has Found It's Director

The Impossible's Juan Antonio Bayona has now been confirmed as directing the Jurassic World sequel . Bayona was welcomed to the project by Colin Trevorrow and producer Frank Marshall via Twitter. Trevorrow, who co-wrote and directed the latest outing for the Jurassic Park franchise which became a billion-dollar hit last year, opted not to sit in the director's chair again, preferring to make The Book Of Henry and prepare for an even bigger gig shooting Star Wars: Episode IX . But he's been involved with developing the new World, writing the script alongside regular collaborator Derek Connolly (who worked with him on the first). Bayona inherits stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt for a film that will, if all that has been said about it so far is to be believed, will expand the scope to see even more dino action in places beyond Isla Nublar. Jurassic Park: WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH Gallery

Check out the Mondo-sized gallery appearing soon. Mondo's dino-sized gallery show celebrating Jurassic Park and the highly anticipated Jurassic World (in theaters June 12) will feature dozens of artists contributing original works of art and screen prints for one of the all time greatest blockbusters.
