Show Will Return Cartoon Network's " Young Justice" will premiere on Jan. 7. The show about DC Comics sidekicks launched with a movie event in November. Look for new episodes to air Fridays at 7PM. On November 26, 2010, the Young Justice animated television series pilot aired on Cartoon Network, featuring teenaged superhero sidekicks who are members of a fictional covert operation team under the authority of the Justice League called Young Justice. The season will officially continue in January 2011. Despite its title, the show is not an adaptation of the Young Justice series of comics, but rather, an adaptation of the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes. (not an adaptation of solely one or the other), drawing influences from the 1960s Teen Titans run and the 1990s Young Justice run, in addition to the recent Teen Titans and Young Justice comics.
