Emerging from a lengthy prison stint, Gordon Gekko finds himself on the outside of a world he once dominated. Looking to repair his damaged relationship with his daughter, Gekko forms an alliance with her fiancé Jacob (Shia LaBeouf), and Jacob begins to see him as a father figure. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps Teaser Trailer Director Oliver Stone has often reflected upon the nation's past in such films as Platoon,Born on the Fourth of July,JFK and Nixon. Michael Douglas Gives Insight About Wall Street 2 Michael Douglas is starting shooting today on Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps for director Oliver Stone, but we managed to grab a few minutes with him over the weekend and got the lowdown on what Gordon Gekko has been up to in the years between films. "It’s 22 years later," Douglas explains. "Gordon has done about eight years in jail and got out in about 2001. The picture predominantly focuses on these last couple of years on Wall Street, which nobody anticipated. We shot the first one in 1986 and it was a wild, wild colourful time.
