A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man ( Tom Holland ), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War , begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming . Tom Holland is Marvel and Sony’s new Peter Parker/Spider-man who briefly makes a cameo appearance in “Captain America: Civil War” in 2016 and then he’ll have his own new SPIDER-MAN solo movie, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING to hit theaters July 7, 2017 and that movie will be directed by Jon Watts (“Cop Car”).
