Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is the second film in the Silent Hill series, directed by Michael Barrett ( Solomon Kane ) and starring a talented mix of veteran actors ( Sean Bean, Carrie Ann Moss ) and newcomers Adeliade Clemens. At our interview with Barrett and Clemens, we learned that the film will follow the events of the successful video game, focusing on the realization that Heather Mason ( Clemens ) is not who she appears and the role which the town of Silent Hill will play. Clemens talked about the appeal of her character and the franchise in general. “The psychological journey of Heather was appealing. There was so much to sink my teeth into. I was really satisfied on all levels.” She also discussed the physical challenges, but had good overall feelings about the shoot. “I loved every minute of it." When asked about shooting a film entirely in 3D (as opposed t

Smallville creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are in final negotiations to write The Machine , the Vin Diesel -starring action comedy that is also the first new production for the restructured MGM. Jeremy Renner Replaces Christian Bale In America BS

There are yet more changes afoot for David O. Russell’s latest project, which once went under the title American Bullshit , but is currently looking for a new moniker (a move that should surprise exactly no one). But the new name – or lack thereof – isn’t the big news. Instead, Variety brings word that Jeremy Renner is now in negotiations to replace Christian Bale in the cast. Jeremy Renner  would play Jimmy Boyle, an intense, dedicated FBI agent who arrests con man Mel Weinberg and strong-arms him into running a scam that saw politicians arrested for making dodgy deals. Bradley Cooper is already locking down the role of Weinberg and Russell is looking for someone to play his mistress / con partner. The film, written by Eric Warren Singer, is based on the true account of the scam, which ran in the 1970s and 1980s. From the sounds of the report, Russell is looking to make this his next movie, since he has financing from Annapurna Pictures and has set a shoot date of February

Finding Nemo 2 Has Found A Director

While Andrew Stanton‘s live-action feature directing debut John Carter led to a precedent-setting $200 million write-down for Disney earlier this summer, the filmmaker is officially out of director jail. I’ve been hearing for months that he would come aboard to direct the sequel to Disney-based Pixar‘s Finding Nemo , with the idea that Disney would give him another shot behind the camera on a live-action film. Now officially come aboard the Finding Nemo sequel and has a concept the studio loves. Pixar continues to not be helpful on this, as they don’t comment on development. It’s understandable why Disney and Pixar would be excited by this. Stanton won two Oscars for his animation work on Wall-E and Finding Nemo. That original 2003′s fish tale’s $867.9 million worldwide gross makes it still Pixar’s second-highest-grossing film and the third-biggest Disney animated film release ever. And that comes before Finding Nemo is re-released in 3D in September. As for Disney coming thr
