The Art of Getting By Movie Review By: SandwichJohn

The Art of Getting By Movie Review By: SandwichJohn I was able to attend an advance screening of this film earlier this week and going into the film I wasn't expecting much. Didn't really know a whole lot about the movie other than Charlie ( Freddie Highmore ) from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was in the film, and Emma Roberts  was also starring in the film. I was pleasantly surprised by the film and the performance that Freddie Highmore pulled off. The movie itself had that independent film feel to it, camera moving in motion with the actors and just a gritty feel to it. I could have seen this film come out the same time as the classic 80's film like Some Kind Of Wonderful and Less Than Zero . But not up to the same level as the previous films mentioned. The story is a coming of age film that we all have seen before. A teenager slacker with no life ambitions or goals in life. Until he meets the girl of his dreams and then everything is game. Freddie High

Hugh Jackman To Star In Les Miserables The Film

Hugh Jackman is in talks to star Universal and Working Title’s big-screen musical adaptation of Les Miserables , to be directed by The King’s Speech helmer Tom Hooper. If a deal makes, Jackman would play Jean Valjean , the man who steals bread to feed his sister and spends the ensuing years in prison (or trying to escape it) while also becoming the guardian of a young woman named Cosette, all against the backdrop of the French Revolution. William Nicholson wrote the script. The story is based on the Victor Hugo book but best known to millions as one of the longest-running musicals around. Les Miz, as it’s lovably known, would be the first time that Jackman, a singer and dancer with a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz, would perform on the big screen. The actor was scheduled to reprise his role as Wolverine in a sequel that was to have shot later this year, but the lack of a director on the project has thrown a wrench into that timetable. Green Lantern Movie Review By: Joe D

Green Lantern Movie Review By: Joe D I was able to attend Wednesday night’s advanced screening of Green Lantern ! It was practically a dream come true! I finally get to see my most favorite comic hero up on the screen in real life 3D! To say I am a huge Green Lantern fan is almost an understatement. My collection of Green Lantern comics, toys, statues, rings, and other sorted collectibles spans the last 20 years. When I heard that they were finally making a Green Lantern movie, I was beside myself with glee. I think a giggly school girl ‘Tee-hee!’ may have even been involved. With baited breath I waited for anything and everything I could find out. As concept art and cast decisions were announced I became more and more excited. I’ll be honest. A few of the choices had me curious. I realized that when making a live action GL flick, certain details have to be taken into consideration. Making the aliens we GL fans are all too familiar with, come to life; avian Tomar Re, robotic St

Could "This is 40" Starring Chris O'Dowd Be Judd Apatow Next Movie?

I started to follow funny man Chris O'Dowd on Twitter once I took in Bridesmaids . So one day he asked for fans on twitter to ask him questions. And most of the time when you reply to stars they don't take the time to response to you. But this wasn't the case. Chris tweed- @BigBoyler : Anyone interested in a Q & A with ireland's 312th tallest man? I proceed to ask him what his next film would be? His response- @SandwichJFilms not sure... Probably ' This is 40 '... Another Judd film, which is a delight. Now could this be the film that deadline is reporting about? Deadline reports that Jon Hamm and Melissa McCarthy are set to star in an untilited film that will be produced by Judd Apatow . Did I some how grab a scoop by asking a simple question on Twitter?  Could  " This is 40 ?" be Apatow's next film? The power of the internet, amazing. This is proof it never hurts to ask. Please Leave A Comment-
