Much of the work was done last year, but looking at 2010, does it feel like this is an important professional year for you? Are you Ready? Tron: Legacy opens today and if many of you follow me on Twitter I had the pleassure of seeing the film early and was not thrilled by what I saw. But I told myself I have to see the film again to be fair. So the review will be coming later this weekend. World Of Color Tron: Legacy Edition I want to thank the great people over at MouseWait for the heads up on the World Of Color Tron Legacy Edition. A heads up ff your ever going to Disneyland this is THE App to get! It has come in handy every time I have been to Disneyland.  Now back to our regularly scheduled program. Last night Disney California Adventure premiered the newest edition to their World Of Color showed themed after the upcoming film Tron: Legacy. World of Color is a new nighttime show at Disney California Adventure, part of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The entire show cost $75,000,000 USD to design, manufacture and build, premiering on Friday June 11, 2010 as part of "Summer Nightastic!". Designed by Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, the show has more than 1,200 fountains and includes lights, water, fire, fog, and lasers, with high-definition projections on mist screens. THR is reporting Disney is exploring the idea of a movie that would act as a Leto vehicle. Disney is planning to get back on the grid. The studio is in the very early stages of development for a new Tron movie, with Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto circling to star. Sources say this new project is not a direct sequel and is being built out of the source code of the deleted Tron 3 script. Leto would play a character named Ares , who has not appeared on screen before but was a key player in that script. No writer has been hired at this exploratory stage, and no filmmaker is involved. Justin Springer, who co-produced Tron: Legacy and exec produced the Tom Cruise sci-fi movie Oblivion, will produce. Leto and and his producing partner Emma Ludbrook would also be involved in some producing capacity if the project moves forward. Disney's D23 Expo Movie line is Announced And Star Wars News The Walt Disney Studios has released its line-up of movie titles to be presented and screened at the D23 Expo taking place September 10–13, 2009 at the Anaheim Convention Center: And the official website mentioned that George Lucas’ Star Wars would have a presence at the convention, which got me Really excited. “Tron Legacy” To Get A Sequel The film isn't even out until December of this year, but we got word that Disney already is putting a sequel on fast track. Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the “Lost” writers/co-executive producers who worked on “Legacy,” have begun writing a sequel to the studio’s sci-fi tentpole. No details have been released because it is so early in the process. Notwithstanding the question of whether the movie will be a hit, other topics to ponder are whether the sequel will focus on spinoff characters or center on a new adventure set in the “Tron” world. Insiders have suggested that Kitsis and Horowitz are working on a way to round the story into a trilogy. No deals have been made with “Legacy” director Joseph Kosinski or cast members to return, though options were placed in the original deals, and Disney surely would hope to reunite all the elements if “Legacy” proves to be a hit.
