BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

MAN OF STEEL UK TV Spot. New Footage

WB has delivered another great TV spot for MAN OF STEEL with new footage. Keeps looking better and better. The story remains mostly the same (albeit tweaked by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer): Kal-El is sent to Earth and adopted by wholesome, humane farm folk Jonathan ( Kevin Costner ) and Martha ( Diane Lane ) Kent. There, he assumes the identity of Clark Kent and struggles to blend in with humanity while dealing with the fact that he’s a god amongst ants. Then General Zod ( Michael Shannon ) shows up, demanding that Kal-El pledge allegiance to him lest he start destroying this planet that his fellow Kryptonian has come to love and cherish. And that’s without investigative journalist Lois Lane. Watch the clip after the Jump... Please Leave A Comment-

New MAN OF STEEL Poster

Oi, Kal-El! Clark Kent! Superbloke! Whatever your name is… A word in your Kryptonian shell-like if we might: flying at incredible speeds with your mouth slightly open is a recipe for disaster. Actually, it’s a recipe for bugs and possibly seagulls getting sucked into your gob, and no one wants their superhero to be coughing as they land to stop evildoers. Just trying to be helpful as your new poster arrives, okay? But yes, slightly cracked mush (he probably has some super-powered force thing going on to avoid bug splatter) aside, Henry Cavill is looking every inch the hero in the new one-sheet for Man Of Steel. As we draw ever nearer to the release for Zack Snyder’s take on the world’s most iconic comic book character, the promotion has still been fairly reserved (compared to, say, the barrage of promotion for other blockbusters). The story remains mostly the same (albeit tweaked by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer): Kal-El is sent to Earth and adopted by wholesome, humane farm

Warner Bros. also launched another viral site http://www.iwillfindhim.com/ with time we can only hope for something epic. Please Leave A Comment-

Something Important Will Be Missing From MAN OF STEEL

With the new issue of Entertainment Weekly comes a welter of new MAN OF STEEL images, and also an intriguing snippet of new information. There's already, controversially, not a pair of red pants to be seen, but now we learn there'll also be narry a trace of kryptonite in the film. Given that the glowy green substance is Superman's only weakness, what on Earth is going to make him in any way vulnerable enough for any Zod-fearing drama? "I'll be honest with you: there's no Kryptonite in the movie," director Zack Snyder tells EW. Henry Cavill , donning the Supes cape, elaborates (slightly) that, "Although he is not susceptible to the frailties of mankind, he is definitely susceptible to the emotional frailties." Aw no, he's not going to be laid low by feelings, is he? But seriously, with three equally super-powered but considerably less sympathetic fellow Kryptonians to deal with in this film, Superman faces worse than a mere green roc

New Image From Man Of Steel

One of the biggest gambles of 2013 is the latest attempt to introduce Superman back to our screens. Though we’ve already gotten a good look at the Man of Steel in, er, Man Of Steel , there’s always room for another picture of Henry Cavill giving us his best Kryptonian orphan in a cape look. The latest image is online courtesy of USA Today and can be seen above. Wonder what he's looking at? Man Of Steel , written by David Goyer and featuring Zack Snyder in the director’s chair, finds a new iteration on Superman’s origin as he struggles to define himself on Earth and tackles old threats, including Michael Shannon’s General Zod. MAN OF STEEL Trailer #2  So far, the trailers have made this new effort look decidedly moody and thoughtful, which might not seem the approach you’d expect from Snyder. But the most recent promo also hinted at plenty of super-powered action, so we’re hopeful that the director is taking counsel from producer/co-story scribe Christopher Nolan and holdin

The Most Disappointing Movies Of 2012

This year – perhaps more than any other in film history – has given us some of the best and most disappointing/terrible films of all time. Perhaps it's the media machine that seems to make every movie look like the second coming of Jesus, or Moses, or William Shatner. Those lofty expectations certainly held up with The Avengers; but there were also a healthy share of films that left us unfulfilled, like my oft-used prom queen analogy, who fails to put out after a night of courting and outright begging for something magical to occur. Maybe you liked Prometheus even after a preview that looked so amazing. That's fair. No matter where you stand, here's SJF's most disappointing releases – because we love to rub Hollywood's screw ups in their faces. Just so we're clear, the word ' disappointing ' refers to: Films that were highly anticipated, either for their casting/director or because the previews suggested a much better film than we actually got

MAN OF STEEL Trailer #2. Do You Believe?

Here is the second trailer for The MAN OF STEEL. Superman Man Of Steel Poster

Moody and gritty seem so far to be the watchwords for Zack Snyder and Warner Bros.’ new take on Superman in Man Of Steel . Taken from the teaser, it shows Henry Cavill’s Supes in handcuffs being marched down a hallway by soldiers. Obviously we figure Big Red is letting himself be captured in this way – that, or those manacles are somehow fashioned from Kryptonite. Whatever it is, we’ll find out in due course. It’s an intriguing image, blurry and stylish, though somewhat of an odd choice for a teaser. But then, traditional doesn’t seem to be the path for this latest Superhero offering and a little originality is good for the soul. Please Leave A Comment - Source- Empire

Tom Hardy Is On The Long Red Road

He can currently be found on screen threatening Gotham City as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises , but Tom Hardy will be indulging in a different kind of theatricality for a future role. Hardy is set to co-star with Michael Shannon in The Long Red Road . So how does the theatre come into it? The movie will adapt Brett C Leonard’s play, originally staged at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, which saw Hardy playing Sam, an alcoholic try to drink his demons away on a Native American reservation in South Dakota. But when his young daughter arrives for a visit in a desperate attempt to reconnect with him, Sam must take a tough look at what he’s become and decide what to do with his life. Shannon , who wasn’t part of the original production’s cast, will play Sam’s older brother. Leonard is planning to write the film version himself and there’s no official word yet on a director. That said, Philip Seymour Hoffman filled that job for the play and already has one film, Jack Goes Boating, on

Tom Hardy's Star Trek: Nemesis Screen Test With Actual Footage

Before Tom Hardy bulked up (again) and chilled audiences as Batman's nemesis Bane in The Dark Knight Rises , the actor got to play a villainous, younger, cloned version of Capt. Jean-Luc Picard in 2002's Star Trek: Nemesis . I don't even remember this movie or his role in the film. Now you can watch his first interaction with Picard himself, played by Sir Patrick Stewart. The newly unearthed screen test is intermingled with the actual movie's filmed scenes, so you can have a nice look at the different nuances the two British actors brought both to the screen test and then to the actual finished film. At the time, Hardy was a green and mostly unknown actor (with a few small roles in Band of Brothers and Black Hawk Down ), but Star Trek: Nemesis helped get the young British thespian some international exposure with a performance that was both tragic and chilling—even though Nemesis became a complete commercial flop. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Easter Eggs. Did You Catch Any Of These?

When we go to the movie we all expect some form of Easter Eggs in the films that we see. Normally in Marvel films there are plenty of them. And now Christopher Nolan has stepped up to the plate with his own in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES . cinemablend went above and beyond the call finding these Easter Eggs in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES . One of the greatest things about Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy is that it’s clear that the director is a real Batman fan. Over the course of his three films, Nolan paid tribute to some of the greatest Caped Crusader stories ever written, including Alan Moore’s “ The Killing Joke ,” Frank Miller’s “ Batman: Year One ,” Joseph Loeb and Tim Sale’s “ The Long Halloween ” and, most recently, Doug Moench and Chuck Dixon’s “ Knightfall .” But for obvious reasons the filmmaker wasn’t able to stick the entirety of the Batman universe into the series, so he did the next best thing: he littered his movies with easter eggs. THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Movie Revi

Price To Be The Dark Knight

Think you have the right stuff to fill the Caped Crusader's Teflon-fiber tights? You should probably think again, because doing so would cost you some serious coin. This infographic proves that crime may not pay but fighting it can leave you totally broke. The folks at moneysupermarket.com  compiled a comprehensive report on the sticker shock of all the gear and gadgets required to pull off the role of being the Dark Knight, real estate holdings, gardening services and educational costs included . As you can see, all that bat-bling can set you back some major bucks. Lucky for Batman, his alter ego Bruce Wayne has the deep pockets of the Wayne family fortune and Wayne Enterprises' knack for printing high-value currency with its global investments. Ka-ching!
