Jared Leto , Michael De Luca and Terence Winter are teaming up to tackle the life of Andy Warhol , the famed pop art artist whose blend of art and commerce made him a household name. Leto will portray the artist for the biopic, titled Warhol , as well as produce it, along with De Luca, the producer whose credits include such Oscar-winning and -nominated true-life tales as The Social Network and Captain Phillips. Winter, the Boardwalk Empire creator who wrote The Wolf of Wall Street, will pen the screenplay, using the Victor Bockris 1989 book, Warhol: The Biography, as a jumping-off point. (Leto and De Luca jointly acquired the rights to the book, having had a desire to partner on a project for some time now, according to sources.) Warhol stormed the art world in the 1960s with works that elevated American consumerism to artistic heights, showing that even Campbell’s soup cans, Coca-Cola bottles and celebrities can be spun into art. This past Saturday was Batman Day , so naturally projects featuring the Caped Crusader saw the chance for a little corporate syner... er... celebration. Among them was Justice League, which opted to premiere the first proper look at J.K. Simmons' Commissioner Gordon via director Zack Snyder's Twitter account . It's not exactly the clearest look at Gordon, but at least he's in a familiar place, lighting the Bat Signal. Simmons has said that Gordon won't have a massive amount of screen time in the film, but given the actor's usual abilities, we expect he'll make the most of it. Bridget Jones delivers  Rama is back with another review. YES! Bridget Jones delivers (see what I did there) once more! Keeping true to its predecessors, Bridget Jones gives us new aspirations for a perfect love story. Its recipe of romance mixed with a touch of vulgarity, proves modern with all the gushy feelings of a classic! McDreamy and Darcy, festivals, flowers, and f bombs: It’s both outrageous and entirely relatable. Emma Thompsons dead-pan OBG-YN portrayal is a welcomed fresh new character. Is there anything this woman cannot play? No. The minimalistic approach proves perfect. I mean, when playing a vagina doctor, really, just let the reality of womanhood do the work. It’s already simultaneously depressing and hilarious. Thompson shines with every monotone line! Perhaps the only set back would be Dempsey as Jack. The gritty life of LA police comes through in the short Boot . Review by Matt Cummings In Director Brian L. Tan's short Boot , a bitter and burned-out LA police sergeant (Graham Clarke) is on his last assignment, the victim of serving years on the street, when he takes on a young recruit (John Redlinger) who's committed to making a difference. But when the two are engaged in a fire fight, one must make the ultimate sacrifice, leaving the other to share the bad news with their senile and abusive father (Richard Johnson). Tan shoots a competent camera, breathing life into the short with a dark noir edge. He keeps the action tightly focused on his leads, giving an extra edge to an argument between the two cops. When the action starts, Tan lets that run free as well. It's not viseral like Antoine Fuqua's Training Day or Olympus Has Fallen , but it still works. Clarke and Johnson have good chemistry, while Redlinger plays the naive kid cop ala Vince Roman
