Movie Review: MORGAN File The Film Under Decent Attempt

RAMA is back with another great review. If you liked " Cube " or " Event Horizon ," you'll like MORGAN The film MORGAN is one that you’d file under decent attempt. Directed by Ridley’s son, Luke Scott, you wonder if the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree or the talent gets passed down trough genes, well, don’t expect MORGAN to be on the same level as Ridley’s “Alien,” that’s for sure, but again, a decent attempt is what it is, the closest to a compliment I can give the film at this point. Kate Mara plays a corporate risk management officer, a troubleshooter, and she’s sent to a top secret location to investigate and evaluate a recent accident, she’s supposed to be there to find out what went wrong and judge the asset in terms of the overall profit. At this top secret location, scientists have successfully created what is perceived to be the perfect human (Anya Taylor-Joy) but turns out, she comes with her own set of unpredictable threats. What I

Movie Review: The Light Between Oceans. Bring A Box Of Box Of Kleenex With You

Tugs at your heartstrings RAMA delivers another great review. You better take a box of kleenex with you to the screening of   The Light Between Oceans because you’re going to need it, trust me. Heartbreaking pretty much encapsulates the entirety of this film which from the start aims to drive its point home on an emotional level. Based on M.L. Stedman’s best-selling novel, starring Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Rachel Weisz, Bryan Brown , and Jack Thompson , adapted and directed by Derek Cianfrance, THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS is essentially about a lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia and they raise a baby they rescue from an adrift rowboat. But years later, the lighthouse keeper and his wife encounter the real mother of that baby. Should they go on with their lie and keep their child or do they tell the truth and risk losing her forever? I’ve never been a parent, so I don’t know what it feels like, because I can only imagine that t

Bruce Lee's Lost Notes To Be Developed Into TV Series

Bruce Lee is kicking his way back from the grave. Like many other creative people who pass away before their time, the late Lee left behind a number of unfinished projects. In this case the subject is Warrior, the pilot for a new Cinemax television series that's being developed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious, Star Trek Beyond) and Banshee co-creator Jonathan Tropper. The proposed crime drama is based on Lee's handwritten notes discovered by his daughter, Shannon, who will serve as a producer as part of Bruce Lee Entertainment. According to Deadline, the show will be “set against the backdrop of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the aftermath of the Civil War [and] tells the story of a young martial arts prodigy, newly arrived from China, who finds himself caught up in the bloody Chinatown Tong wars.” Lee died in 1973 of a cerebral edema. At the time he was wrapping up post-production on his most famous film, Enter The Dragon, and in the midst of directing Game Of Death. Th

Dwayne Johnson Post First Concept Art From Upcoming Jumanji Film

With shooting kicking off soon in Hawaii, Dwayne Johnson has somewhat naturally been keeping the Jumanji promotional flame alive via his social media channels. And, via his Instagram page , The Rock has provided a look at concept art for his character, named Dr. Bravestone . Yes, Dr. Bravestone. We firmly expect co-star Kevin Hart to show up as someone named Captain Wildheart or some such pun. The actual plot of the film – which Johnson keeps reminding us continues the story of the 1996 original, and doesn't reboot it – is for now locked away in a toy cupboard. But we do know it'll feature the reunion of Central Intelligence pair Johnson and Hart alongside Jack Black, Nick Jonas and recent addition Karen Gillan , who is playing the crucial role of someone named Martha. Cue Batman cameoing in the film, shouting, "why did you say that naaaame?" With Jake Kasdan calling the shots, the new Jumanji (Newmanji?) is expected to unleash yet more animal mayhem from the
