BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Documentary Review: #ArtBastard

A long winded and repetitive telling of the life and times of satirical artist, Robert Cenedella. Review by: Erika Ashley Art Bastard is a documentary about contemporary American artist Robert Cenedella. The film outlines his early childhood, family troubles, how he became an artist and what brought him to his specific stylization of contemporary and satirical art. A large portion of the film focuses on his early career in the late 60’s dissecting and thoroughly examining the evolution of his artistic style. For starters the film is staunchly low budget to the point where it could have very well been shot on cell phone camera. Understandably this independent documentary about a lesser known American artist probably would not come with a big budget, however director Victor Kanefsky made several missteps that accentuated their shallow pocketbooks. For example, in the starting credits of the film you can see a boom-mic in the upper left hand corner within the first few minut

First look At Charlize Theron In Fast & Furious 8

Regardless of whether it ends up being called Fast 8, Furious 8 or, in a moment of utter titling madness, &8, the next Fast & Furious film is now shooting. And the team has posted the first look at Charlize Theron 's villain, the mysteriously-named Cipher. Does this mean she's a master technical whizz, security conscious, or is it a comment on the fact that the Fast rogues are usually not all that complicated? We'll find out for sure next year, but Vin Diesel and the gang have been busy, shooting scenes in Iceland, Cuba and New York. The returning likes of Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham, Lucas Black and Nathalie Emmanuel are joined this time around by Scott Eastwood and Kristofer Hivju . Dom and the gang will face their deadliest threat yet from Theron's Cipher, a woman in the deep, dark criminal underworld they first became exposed to in the last film. This time, of course, they won't have Paul Walker

Watch @Sia SING "UNFORGETTABLE" END-CREDIT SONG From @Disney's @FindingDory

Singer-songwriter Sia is on board Disney•Pixar’s “ Finding Dory ,” performing the film’s end-credit song, “ Unforgettable .” American songwriter Irving Gordon wrote the song in 1951, and in 1992 won a Grammy® for it when Natalie Cole included the tribute to her late father on her album of duets. “Unforgettable” remains revered worldwide today. Five-time Grammy® nominee Sia, who announced this week her 22-city North American “Nostalgic for the Present” tour, performs the song for the first time on today’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” DeGeneres, coincidentally, is the voice of the much beloved and forever forgetful blue tang Dory. “Dory's story makes me teary,” said Sia. “When Ellen asked me, I couldn't refuse!” “Finding Dory” director Andrew Stanton has long been a fan of the native Australian performer. “In the same way Robbie Williams did his own unique twist on a classic song for ‘Finding Nemo,’ Sia captures the soulful truth of the Nat King Cole classic ‘Unforgetta

#GeekFuel Review: May 2016

Geek Fuel's May release brings the geek, but still confuses. Review by Matt Cummings For the past few months, Geek Fuel has shown us something that we never thought would happen: improve the quality of its monthly items without raising the price. That represents a significant change in an industry where consistency has been a real problem. March and April showed us that change was coming, even if the boxes were such a mish-mash that theme could not be discerned. May does the same thing, continuing to expose GFs weak side of timing, but making a good case that they might have learned their lesson. Before diving in, let's review the details: The cost for a Month to Month is $17.90, $16.90/month for a 3-month subscription, $15.90/month for a 6-month tour and just $13.90/month for a one-year subscription. Shipping $6.00 to the US, Canada, and at least a few other countries. We use QUALITY and TIMING to base our reviews, so let's see how this box stands

#StarWarsSmugglersBounty Review: May 2016

May's reliable Star Wars/Funko Smuggler's Bounty sub box is also a BOUNTY HUNTER'S dream. Review by Matt Cummings For a series that's delivered so consistently as Funko's Star Wars, there's also a feeling that things might be getting a little stale. Believe me, it's better than the whipsaw efforts by Geek Fuel (thinking about cancelling) and Loot Crate (cancelled), but May's BOUNTY HUNTERS box provides growing evidence that, while still very reliable, the monthly sub box might need to shake things up a bit going forward. Before diving in, let's review the details: The cost for a Month to Month is $25 (plus S/H), or $150 (plus S/H) for a one-year subscription. You get one box every other month, with SB promising $50 in value and no fluff. If you choose the Smuggler membership (yearly), you are promised an additional gift on your anniversary. Guess which one we chose. Again, this month's theme is BOUNTY HUNTERS, highlighting th

Movie Review: #Neighbors2SororityRising

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is a strange coming-of-age Frankenstein of comedy. Review by Matt Cummings If 2014's Neighbors made a strong case for comedy of that year, it only lost out to 22 Jump Street due to that production's nearly perfect execution. The same cannot be said for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising , a film that tries (and fails) to advance a feminist plot while wrapping that message in skits which don't quite pay off. Set a few years after the original, thirty-somethings Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly (Rose Byrne) have raised their now toddler daughter - who keeps finding Kelly's vibrator - and are expecting a second. They've made the decision to buy a new home in the suburbs and thus need to sell their existing home. But their 30-day escrow is challenged when a group of teenage girls led by Shelby (Chloë Grace Moretz) start up a new sorority with the intention of partying away any chance for the Radners to sell their home. Enter the mostly
