BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

American Psycho TV Series Coming To FX

FX is looking for its own psycho. The cable network is developing a follow-up series to American Psycho , The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The drama, which hails from Allison Shearmur, writer Stefan Jaworski and Lionsgate Television, is described as a follow-up to the book and subsequent feature film of the same name. Bret Easton Ellis' controversial 1991 novel revolves around Patrick Bateman, a Manhattan executive with a secret life as a serial killer, and spawned a 2000 feature film adaptation starring Christian Bale . The 1980s-set book and movie depicted Bateman seemingly relishing in his upscale lifestyle and like-minded friends, whom he secretly despised. The feature film was written by Mary Harron and Guinevere Turner, with the former directing. The Lionsgate-produced film grossed $34 million worldwide. In the update, Bateman -- now in his mid-50s but as outrageous and lethal as ever -- takes on a protege, in a sadistic social experiment, who will become every bi

Ian McKellen To Play Sherlock Holmes

The Oscar-winning writer and director collaborated with the actor on " Gods And Monsters " before later working on the last two " Twilight " films. The film details the story of a long-retired Sherlock Holmes haunted by an unsolved case from fifty years ago. He remembers only fragments: a confrontation with an angry husband, a secret bond with his beautiful but unstable wife. With his legendary mental powers on the wane, and without his old sidekick Watson, Holmes is faced with the toughest case of his life. Based on a novel of the same name by Mitch Cullin, the screenplay is being adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher (The Duchess). AI Film, the production arm of the Icon U.K. Group owned by Len Blavatnik’s Access Industries, has boarded the project and will finance and co-produce. Set to shoot April 2014 in the U.K., the film will be produced by Anne Carey, of Anton Corbijn’s The American, through her new venture Archer Gray Productions. Producers of the Oscar-winn

Pitt Talks World War Z's sequel

Perhaps the biggest problem for World War Z's sequel is what to call it. World War Z 2? World War Zour? World War Z: Zed's Dead? Then there's possibilty of the threequel's name being World War Z 3, which doesn't even bear thinking about. And yet, it is under consideration, as Brad Pitt revealed to the press at this year's Toronto Film Festival. “We’re certainly talking about it, yes,” he told Variety . “We have so many ideas on the table from the time we spent developing this thing and figuring out how the zombie worlds work. We gotta get the script right first to determine if we go further.” Very loosely based on Max "Son of Mel" Brooks' apocalyptic zombie novel World War Z, the Marc Forster movie cost nearly $200 million to make - thanks, in part, to lengthy third act reshoots that led many to believe it would be a cast-iron clanger on release - but has so far made $533 million at the worldwide box office. This makes it Brad Pitt's h

Ant-Man Gets A Summer Release Date

Disney is pushing up the release date of Marvel's upcoming project from Nov. 6, 2015, to July 31, 2015. Edgar Wright is directing the pic based on the Marvel comics character Henry Pym, a brilliant scientist who invents a way to change size. But when that experiment goes awry, he discovers a way to communicate with insects. With the November release date, the superhero pic would have gone up against the next Bond film, which will see the return of director Sam Mendes and star Daniel Craig. Mendes' previous Bond film, Skyfall, was a box office behemoth, bringing in more than $1 billion worldwide. Fox's untitled Peanuts movie also opens on that date. The new July 2015 date only has one other film slated for release -- Peregrine's Home for Peculiars. It will be a crowded superhero summer. Marvel's ensemble superhero sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron , hits theaters earlier that summer, on May 1, 2015. Also, Warner Bros.' currently untitled Superman and Batma
