A Good Day to Die Hard Trailer

Here is the trailer for A Good Day to Die Hard . A Good Day to Die Hard will be the fifth entry in the action franchise featuring irascible and still-not-yet-retired NYPD officer John McClane—other potential titles included Die Hard or Die Trying and You’re Going to Die Hard, Charlie Brown–but this time he’s got an unlikely partner. Sure, he had an unlikely partner in the last two Die Hard movies, but now it’s his son, okay? Spartacus‘ Jai Courtney plays John McClane, Jr. (a.k.a. Jack) alongside Bruce Willis as the McClane clan head to Russia. Watch the trailer after the Jump... “That’s the thing about the Die Hard franchise, John’s always a fish out of water,” says Courtney, who is also starring opposite Tom Cruise in this fall’s Jack Reacher. “What could be further out of water for him than Russia?” Making things even more complicated, father and son don’t necessarily get along. “The relationship isn’t always functional. These are two guys who have been estranged for some

Mad Dog Stare By Schwarzenegger In "Ten"

Arnold Schwarzenegger has sported some varied looks in his career, between Conan’s long locks to Total Recall’s waved ‘do to the spiky peaks of The Terminator and its sequels.  Schwarzenegger has taken on an even more extreme look for his role in David Ayers’ Ten . Arnie himself tweeted the picture with the message, “I’m having a great time working with David Ayer on my new movie, Ten.” Looking like a slightly fascistic cop in a dystopian world, he’s actually John “Breacher” Wharton, the tattooed hard nut leader of an elite squad of Drug Enforcement bruisers who assemble to raid a cartel’s safe house. But the supposedly police action is actually a cover-up for the team to rob the place of millions in illegal merchandise to sell. Yet when the team – which also includes Sam Worthington, Joe Manganiello, Harold Perrineau, Josh Holloway and Terrence Howard – thinks they’ve got away with the crime, the pressure from their legal colleagues rises and someone starts picking them of

Schwarzenegger Returns For The Legend Of Conan

Universal Pictures has made a deal for The Legend Of Conan , an action film that will star Arnold Schwarzenegger in one of his signature roles as Robert E. Howard’s mythic barbarian. The deal brings Conan and Schwarzenegger back to Universal, which released the first film that launched Schwarzenegger’s movie career back in 1982. Universal has world rights on the film. The film will be produced by Fredrik Malmberg and Chris Morgan. Malmberg is CEO of Paradox Entertainment, which holds the rights to Conan . Morgan is the Universal-based writer and producer whose credits include the last four Fast and the Furious films, along with Wanted and 47 Ronin . Morgan has hatched the story and might write the script. The caveat is that the studio wants The Legend of Conan for summer 2014, and Morgan might not be finished writing the seventh Fast and Furious installment by then. If that happens he will be a very active producer, because this is Morgan’s dream project. Schwarzenegger star

Matthew Vaughn Leaves X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Matthew Vaughn has decided not to direct the sequel to 20th Century Fox‘s hit spinoff X-Men: First Class . Ready for the next shocker? Atop the studio’s replacement short list is Bryan Singer, who launched the X-Men feature franchise with the first two superb films and who has been a guiding influence in this spinoff by writing the treatment and producing. If this works out, Singer and Vaughn would essentially be switching roles. Vaughn, who wrote the treatment for the sequel for X-Men: Days Of Future Past that was scripted by Simon Kinberg, would step back to produce the film with Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner. Vaughn will do another film for Fox, and I’m hearing it will be the drama Secret Service , an adaptation of the Mark Millar comic book series that Vaughn has been working on with the author. Fox already has the script for X-Men: Days Of Future Past , and set to return is Fox’s First Class cast that includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence . F
