Here is a new TV spot for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 2. After the birth of Renesmee Cullen, Bella, now a vampire, finds herself enjoying her new life and abilities. However, the vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an "immortal child", a child who has been turned into a vampire, and because immortal children are uncontrollable, creating them has been outlawed by the Volturi. After Irina presents her allegation to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. ABC's Joss Whedon pilot S.H.I.E.L.D . has added another agent to its ranks. ER alum Ming-Na has boarded the Marvel TV adaptation, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. From ABC Studios, the project is based on the long-running comic created by Jack Kirby and revolves around the secret military law enforcement agency dubbed S.H.I.E.L.D., which stands for Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistic Directorate. Whedon is on board to co-pen the pilot alongside his brother Jed Whedon and Jed's wife Maurissa Tancharoen; the trio previously teamed on the three-part web series Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Avengers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer mastermind Whedon will direct the pilot, should his schedule permit.11 Ming-Na will play Agent Melinda May, an top-notch pilot, weapons expert and soldier who is described as being soulful but damaged by her time spent in combat. We now welcome the full on, gore-soaked red band trailer for the remake of Evil Dead . Take a peek – if you dare. From the looks of this first proper glimpse, the movie, produced by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell and directed by Fede Alvarez, doesn’t hold back and doesn’t skimp on the horror. It’s also more of a reinvention than a remake, with a group of young ‘uns (including Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas and Lou Taylor Pucci) standing in for Campbell’s Ash as the unfortunates who head to a spooky cabin in the woods, discover the Necronomicon, read chunks and unleash terrible evil. Plus Raimi and Alvarez certainly appear to have put their cast through similar tribulations to the ones Campbell endured, tweaking elements here and there (the grabby trees seem even worse this time around). The actress-producer has sold The Clan to ABC, marking the Oscar winner's third sale this development season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively. The Clan is described as a sweeping drama set in the Highlands of medieval Scotland, where the great clans battle one another -- and the Viking invaders. Hotel Rwanda writer-director-producer Terry George -- who picked up a writing Oscar nomination for the Don Cheadle starrer -- is on board to write, direct and executive produce the project. In what will be one of the hot packages at the upcoming AFM, Inimitable Pictures and Mister Smith Entertainment are teaming for Imagine. Dan Fogelman will direct his script and Al Pacino, Jeremy Renner and Julianne Moore will star. Denise DiNovi, who teamed with Fogelman on Crazy, Stupid, Love , will produce alongside Jessie Nelson and Nimitt Mankad, and Shivani Rawat exec producing. This is the script that Fogelman originally sold for $3 million to Warner Bros with Steve Carell attached. Though this remains one for the Rumor Files until the final decision is made, The Grey ’s Frank Grillo has hit Twitter to drop a hint that he has tested for a role in a Marvel film. He followed that up with one about Marvel fans with #bones and then radio host / comedian Matthew Aaron Show added fuel to the fire, saying that Grillo is close to scoring the role of Crossbones , one of the villains in Captain America: The Winter Soldier . You might not recognize the name but you are sure to know the face. He has starred in Edge of Darkness, Warrior, The Grey and End of Watch .
