Efron was in last years "Me and Orson Welles" film, which was the start to his new career as an actor and not a teen heartthrob. Jamie Foxx Welcome s You To The Jungle Sorry about the Picture I had to use this one. LOL  Now back to the story.  Jamie Foxx is not starring in a Guns and Roses film, but in a 20th Century Fox Animation toon " Welcome to the Jungle ," based on an original pitch by Foxx and scribe Malcolm Spellman. Foxx is attached to star in the animated pic, which he'll produce with manager and partner Jamie Rucker King via their company FoxxKing Entertainment. Foxx, a Grammy winning R&B artist, also will write original music for the film. Spellman is penning the script, although Fox is keeping the storyline under tight wraps. One hint provided by Spellman's team: "Life is a jungle and welcome to it." New Nightmare On Elm Street Clip We got our hands on a new clip from the upcoming film A Nightmare On Elm Street . As Nancy (Rooney Mara) enters  the convenient store  you hear The Everly Brothers in the back ground “whenever I want you, all I have to do is dream.. dream, dream, dream” A Nightmare on Elm Street is an upcoming 2010 American slasher film written by Wesley Strick and Eric Heisserer, directed by Samuel Bayer, and produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. It is a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 slasher film of the same name and designed to reboot the franchise. The film stars Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger, a role made famous by Robert Englund, while Rooney Mara takes over the role of Nancy Thompson, originally portrayed by Heather Langenkamp. Rachel Weisz To Play Jackie Kennedy In Upcoming "Jackie" Film Rachel Weisz is in play to portray Jackie Kennedy in the upcoming film titled Jackie . Academy-Award winning actress Rachel Weisz is attached to play the late first lady. Weisz’s fiancee, director Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler), will direct and produce. The script had been rumored as a Steven Spielberg-produced telefilm for HBO, but Spielberg is not involved in any way. The script, from Noah Oppenheim, head of development at television production company Reveille, has been a hot commodity at the agency since it came in last month. Jackie, written over period of nights and weekends by Oppenheim, catalogs the four days between JFK’s assassination and his burial, showing the beloved Jackie at both her most vulnerable and her most graceful. Hayley Atwell Snags Peggy Carter Role In Upcoming Captain America Film and Title Change The British actress Hayley Atwell has snagged the role of Peggy Carter in the upcoming Captain America film. We reported that Alice Eve was in the driver seat, but looks like we were wrong, as the  role went to Atwell. Hayley Atwell is not a house hold name just yet but will be soon after this film is released. She has starred in  Brideshead Revisited, The Duchess and the TV show The Prisoner. Iron Man 2 Easter Eggs  After The Credits Have Rolled I have been accustom to staying after the credits role during a movie now, with a hand full of films having Easter eggs at the end of the film. And we learned from cinemablend that Iron Man 2 will be no different from the first film. After the credits have rolled be sure to stick around because they will have a few surprises for us. Captain America and Thor will show up in Iron Man 2 after credits and it may also be the first time the “Avengers” are referenced by name in a Marvel film. We already know from the Iron Man 2 trailers that Sam Jackson’s Nick Fury plays a prominent role in the sequel, and Fury should be at least partially responsible for putting the Avengers team together. Maybe he’s even roped Tony Stark into recruiting, resulting in an after the credits scene in which Stark tries to hire Captain America and Thor for Fury’s superhero team-up,,. but that's just a theory. This year will be no different. G4 got the first look at the exclusives that Mattel will be offing this year. * Masters of the Universe Classics Skeletor and Mo-Larr from the Robot Chicken sketch – we saw this set at Mattel’s collector event at Toy Fair. Skeletor is missing a tooth, like he is at the end of the sketch. * Masters of the Universe Classics Orko – comes with a Prince Adam “accessory.” Adam, a fully-articulated figure, was positioned in the package sideways below Orko, obscured partially by standard packaging. When you dip Orko in hot water, he turns transparent and “disappears.” When you dip his spellbook in hot water, the SDCC logo appears. I imagine the SDCC logo is exclusive to the version that will be sold at SDCC, but I’m not sure if Orko’s disappearing act is

Joss Whedon To Take On The Avengers Film There goes the neighborhood. Deadline is confirming that  Joss Whedon is in final talks to direct Marvel's proposed The Avengers movie. I am not sure that I would trust such a high profile franchise with Whedon with his track record being just the film Serenity. I understand he has a Huge following with fanboys and girls and he has written the scripts for several (including his upcoming Cabin in the Woods) and is a well-known script doctor in Hollywood.
