Teaser Trailer For New King Kong Attraction At Universal Studios Hollywood As I reported back in February about the upcoming King Kong Ride at Universal Hollywood. We now have a trailer for the upcoming ride thanks to Crave . Over a year and a half ago the 7 ton,30 foot tall King Kong was destroyed in June 2008 Fire on The back lot of Universal Studios Hollywood.Universal instead spent 6 times as much to build a new attraction then remake the old ride. And created a 3D version of the ride.Well we find out it is going to be 4D not 3D. Peter Jackson directed the new ride that is set to open in the Summer of 2010. Please Leave A Comment-

Smallville Returning For A 10th Season As most of us thought CW is going to bring back Samllville for a 10th season, even after that horrible 2hr special Smallville: Absolute Justice. Wow was that a bad one. The series has been holding up strong for the network on ultra-tough Friday nights this season. “Smallville” joins five previously announced series that will return next season on the network -- “The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl,” “90210,” “Supernatural” and “America’s Next Top Model." Guy Ritchie To Direct Excalibur After reading this let me know if you got confused or not. Well I was confused until I looked at it again. So, get this: Warner Brothers also put a competing production into development. But this one is not a remake of the Boorman film, it’s a big-screen adaptation of Warren Ellis’ Excalibur treatment . Now, the fact that Warren Ellis is working on a Excalibur movie isn’t new — he announced it on his own blog last July. (Coincidentally, Ellis also had a run as a writer of Marvel’s Excalibur — a series that featured Captain Britain and a number of former X-Men members — early in his career). The news here, actually, is who is angling to direct this version of Excalibur: Some dude named Guy Ritchie. Yes. Ole Lock Stock and Two Holmes. Robert De Niro To Make His Way To "The Dark Fields" With Bradley Cooper Robert De Niro has signed on to star opposite Bradley Cooper in Relativity Media's suspense thriller "The Dark Fields." Story centers on a down-and-out Gotham writer (Cooper) who comes into possession of a designer drug that gives him newfound intelligence and success. De Niro will play a brilliant financial mogul who begins pursuing Cooper's character. Neil Burger will direct the pic, which is being produced by Scott Kroopf, Leslie Dixon and Ryan Kavanaugh. Zack Snyder's Legend of The Guardians Trailer And Images Warner Bros. has released a fantastic looking new trailer for the Zack Snyder directed CGI animated film Legend of The Guardians, based on the book the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, which was the previous title of the movie. Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving and David Wenham will topline the voice cast of Animal Logic's 3D animated feature, "Legend of The Guardians," distributor Roadshow Films said. The big-budget fantasy film, in production in Sydney and directed by Zack Snyder, also will feature the voices of Aussie actors Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten and Jay Laga'aia, as well as English actors Miriam Margolyes, Helen Mirren and Jim Sturgess. The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father's epic stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. Tim Burton To Direct Lincoln Vampire Slayer Film We have learned that directors Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov have found another angle on the Lincoln story: Abe's lifelong mission to kill vampires. They'll produce with Jim Lemley a movie adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter , the Seth Grahame-Smith novel that Grand Central Publishing released today. Graham-Smith kicks off with the revelation that Lincoln’s mother was killed by a supernatural creature, which fueled his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers. The novel depicts the 16th U.S. president as an axe-throwing, highly trained vampire killer. The author is making a career of marrying classic tales with a genre bent, and this becomes his second film deal after Lionsgate and Natalie Portman signed on to adapt Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which infuses a familiar Jane Austen tale with an attack of bloodthirsty zombies. Neil Patrick Harris To Star In The Upcoming Smurf Film Doogie Howser, M.D., has joined the cast of the upcoming Smurf movie. Neil Patrick Harris has a TV-heavy resume. Now he's just landed the lead in Smurfs: The Movie for Sony. Harris won’t have to walk around as a blue-tinted Avatar, either. The Raja Gosnell-directed film is a mix of live action and animation, and Harris is the lead live action character. Filming begins in April, when he’ll be on hiatus from CBS' How I Met Your Mother.
