Wolverine 2 Script Is Done And Ready To Head To Japan

Wolverine 2 Script Is Done And Ready To Head To Japan I actually didn't hate the first film as much as a lot of fans of Wolverine. I mean of course there were holes in the movie that didn't follow the comic book but overall a descent movie in my opinion. And looks like the script for the second film is done and ready to go. At this time no director has been signed to the film. I am sure they will not have a problem finding someone. The script was based on Frank Miller and Chris Claremont Story cycle of the Wolverine story when he heads to my motherland looking for adventures in martial arts will be a love story featuring a Japanese actress, I am told. “It’s a beautiful story,” says a source, “and will be very different than the first film.” The script was written by Christopher McQuarrie of “X-Men” and “Valkyrie” fame. Space Invaders Making It's Way To The Big Screen

Space Invaders Making It's Way To The Big Screen I guess this really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone with Missile Command set up at Fox and Asteroids at Universal. So it look like Warner Bros. wants to get their hand on the classic game Space Invaders. It looks like this film will becoming reality very soon, Warner Bros. is in negotiation to acquireTaito, the Japanese company that man the game. Once all those issues are taken care look like they are going to bring in some Hollywood heave weights.Mark Gordon, Jason Blum and Guymon Casady as producers. Space Invaders was of course the iconic game that helped start it all, a Japanese-created arcade title from 1978 that featured roving attacking ships raining vertical fire on the player's craft, which dodged and fired back. It later vaulted to prominence via the Atari 2600. There's a bit of a loop-closing thing happening, since the game itself was inspired (loosely) by sci-fi movies like "Star Wars." Sti

No More Musical Numbers For Disney Animation?

No More Musical Numbers For Disney Animation? How can that be? Just because a movie breaks even at the box office does that mean let's have no more musical acts in any Disney animation films? Let's hope this isn't true. Oh and another thing people do not turn this into a racial issue. Cause I am sure someone has already brought that up. Think of Jiminy Cricket warbling “When You Wish Upon A Star.” Or Angela Lansbury and her friends toasting “Be Our Guest” from “Beauty and the Beast.” Well, those days may be a thing of the past. I am told that Disney Animation has put the kibosh on Alan Menken’s planned “The Snow Queen,” from the directors of “Tarzan.” The reason? “The Princess and the Frog” was a disappointment, insiders say. Even though it was nominated for an Oscar and got pretty good reviews, “P & F” is considered a bust in Toon Town. According to sources, several things hurt the movie. Not the least of which was the word “Princess” in the title. “It scared off the

James Cameron's Hiroshima Flick Is Not Going To Happen

James Cameron's Hiroshima Flick Is Not Going To Happen Publication has been halted for a disputed book about the atomic bombing of Japan that "Avatar" director James Cameron had optioned for a possible film. Publisher Henry Holt and Company, responding to questions from the AP, said Monday that author Charles Pellegrino "was not able to answer" concerns about "The Last Train from Hiroshima," including whether two men mentioned in the book actually existed. "It is with deep regret that Henry Holt and Company announces that we will not print, correct or ship copies of Charles Pellegrino's `The Last Train from Hiroshima,'" the publisher said in a statement issued to the AP. Doubts were first raised about the book a week ago after Pellegrino acknowledged that one of his interview subjects had falsely claimed to be on one of the planes accompanying the Enola Gay, from which an atom bomb was dropped by the United States on Hiroshima in 1945
