THE HUNGER GAMES Movie Review By: RAMA

THE HUNGER GAMES Movie Review By: RAMA Was RAMA caught up in all the hype about this film? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . Unfortunately I’d have to stand in the middle on this one. I loved the book, I could read it a thousand times, the adaptation on the other hand, though not entirely terrible, does not excite me as much, but even if I hadn’t read the book, I think THE HUNGER GAMES film could be so much more deeply affecting. Granted it’s been months since I last read the book so I won’t be making too many comparisons in this review, and I promise I won’t compare it to Battle Royale. I enjoy director Gary Ross’ style and the film’s scope and how loud and outrageous the costumes look, the future is undeniably wacky and it doesn’t mean a bad thing. The film, in my opinion, sadly tones down the violence and amps up the drama which doesn’t always work, especially when the hint of romance is uncertain, it may be for show only or it may be genuine. I think PG-13

Dark Shadows Trailer & Character Posters

With Dark Shadows and Frankenweenie at various stages of completion, Tim Burton is a busy man at the moment. Jolly good of him, then, to dazzle our peepers with a new batch of character posters - sent, we'd like to think, from his personal email account. The posters of Barnabas Collins and co. augment the most recent batch of stills and this week's exceptionally promising trailer. Dark Shadows isn't a property immediately familiar on this side of the ditch, but all the signs are there that Burton and Johnny Depp have rebottled their Edward Scissorhands / Ed Wood lightning. The trailer's comic beats land and the design look is as lovingly outlandish as you could wish for. Watch the trailer and view all the posters after the Jump... In case you're not familiar with the US TV series, the premise sees 18th century playboy Collins cursed and turned into a vampire, before eventually reawakening into '70s America. Like a toothier 'Ted'

We have your access to see WRATH OF THE TITANS . Warner Bros. Pictures has provide me with Exclusive passes for the fans to get access to the screening in Sacramento,Ca. Please Bring your ID's to the screening A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus ( Sam Worthington ) is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year-old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans led by Kronos: father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus ( Liam Neeson ), Hades ( Ralph Fiennes ), and Poseidon ( Danny Huston ). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades and Ares ( Édgar Ramírez ) make a deal with

Seth Rogen To Star In Cop Buddy Film With Kevin Hart

Seth Rogen made for a very funny police officer in Superbad . And though his mall cop in Observe And Report was less effective at arresting our funny bones, he’s clearly decided that he needs to get back into uniform, signing on to co-star with Kevin Hart in a new, untitled comedy film. So far very little is known about the pic, which writer Rodney Rothman pitched to Paramount. But we do know that Rothman is describing it as the first interracial police pairing in law enforcement history. Which sounded like a joke on your typical police pairing, but actually refers to the film being set in a post-World War II jazz era, and has the pair investigating a drugs ring. It’s an idea that Rothman has been cooking up in his brain for a few years now, and has had a connection with Rogen since they worked together on Judd Apatow’s college comedy series Undeclared. Rothman’s also been busy working with Apatow, and he’s one of the producers on The Five-Year Engagement, which, not-so-coinc

New Snow White And The Huntsman Trailer

The new trailer for Snow White And The Huntsman has arrived - and it's a good 'un. As previously noted, the tone is darker and more action-orientated than previous adaptations of the tale, with Charlize Theron revelling in the role of evil Queen Ravenna and the VFX team working wonders with multiplying crows and shattering black glass. Watch the trailer after the Jump... Plus, dwarves! Played by Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Brian Gleeson and Johnny Harris, they're definitely short and serious, not jokey/happy/sneezey etc. Oh, and Sam Claflin is Prince William, and Thor himself is Chris Hemsworth is Eric, the Huntsman - though we're not quite sure whether he's meant to be Scottish or not, as we've only had a few lines from him. Still, what do you think? Who will win the battle of the Snow Whites: Mirror Mirror or this? Let us know in the comment box below. Snow White And The Huntsman will be cuttin

JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME Movie Review By: RAMA

JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME Movie Review By: RAMA So what did RAMA think of the film? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . The Duplass Brothers who brought us Cyrus, have done it again! JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME is flat out Hilarious and it finds its way to your heart. I couldn’t stop laughing, you’re going to be rooting for Segel’s character Jeff. One of the best family comedies I’ve seen in recent years. Segel, Helms, Greer, Sarandon, what a great ensemble cast, JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME makes slacking off seem awesome.. On his way to the store to buy wood glue, Jeff looks for signs from the universe to determine his path. However, a series of comedic and unexpected events leads him to cross paths with his family in the strangest of locations and circumstances. Jeff just may find the meaning of his life… and if he’s lucky, pick up the wood glue as well. Duplass Brothers are slowly but surely perfecting their own brand of comedy, which may be influenced by other stori
