BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Seth Rogen To Star In Cop Buddy Film With Kevin Hart

Seth Rogen made for a very funny police officer in Superbad. And though his mall cop in Observe And Report was less effective at arresting our funny bones, he’s clearly decided that he needs to get back into uniform, signing on to co-star with Kevin Hart in a new, untitled comedy film.

So far very little is known about the pic, which writer Rodney Rothman pitched to Paramount. But we do know that Rothman is describing it as the first interracial police pairing in law enforcement history. Which sounded like a joke on your typical police pairing, but actually refers to the film being set in a post-World War II jazz era, and has the pair investigating a drugs ring.

It’s an idea that Rothman has been cooking up in his brain for a few years now, and has had a connection with Rogen since they worked together on Judd Apatow’s college comedy series Undeclared.

Rothman’s also been busy working with Apatow, and he’s one of the producers on The Five-Year Engagement, which, not-so-coincidentally, boasts Hart among its cast.

Rogen was last seen in 50/50 and co-wrote Neighborhood Watch, which will be out on August 29. Hart has both Engagement and Think Like A Man seeing released on June 22. It’s a Hart attack!

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
