But an unlikely roadblock is holding up an announcement -- and could even lead to cast changes for the series' final installment. Summit Entertainment is in the process of looking for a director for the next Twilight film, Breaking Dawn. You would think that the film would have already gone into production by now. EW states the studio has reached out to three directors so far, which include Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Gus Van Sant (Milk) and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) to gauge their interest in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which is going to be split up into two separate films. No decision will be made until screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's script outline is delivered to the directors sometime next week. Breaking Dawn is the fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer's popular series. Twilight "Eclipse" No Test Screenings According To Summit After news spread that Summit Entertainment was holding "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" test screenings over the weekend, testimonials began to appear online from fans who had the chance to see the flick. The only problem? There was no test screening, so the testimonials were anything but accurate. A source close to the "Eclipse" production told GossipCop.com that rumors of the screening are "absolutely not true." Also, any testimonials being published online on sites like Alex's Memories are equally untrue. The source said specifics around any trailers and screenings for the flick have yet to be announced. "There is absolutely no merit to this claim," a Summit Entertainment rep confirmed to MTV News about reports of the screenings. Twilight:Eclipse's Bryce Dallas Howard Talks Replacing Rachelle Lefevre. In the upcoming third Twilight movie, Eclipse, Terminator Salvation's Bryce Dallas Howard will step in for Rachelle Lefevre as the evil vampire Victoria, and Howard said that the filmmakers took pains to make sure the transition was smooth. (Lefevre was let go last summer.) For one thing, the filmmakers will put a red wig on the otherwise red-haired Howard so that her tresses match those of Lefevre from the first two Twilight films. "I'm wearing a wig for that film," Howard said in a group interview last week in Los Angeles, where she was promoting The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. Twilight's New Moon Bootleggers Get Charges Dropped Charges have been dropped against a 22-year-old Chicago woman accused of videotaping part of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" at a movie theater. Cook County prosecutors on Friday announced in court that they won't pursue charges against Samantha Tumpach. Tumpach was arrested Nov. 28 in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont and faced a felony charge of illegally copying the film. She had about three minutes of "New Moon" on her digital camera. Tumpach has said she was taping her sister's birthday party and wasn't trying to record the movie. The film's director, Chris Weitz, came to Tumpach's defense .
