Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn To Get Award Winning Director?

Summit Entertainment is in the process of looking for a director for the next Twilight film, Breaking Dawn. You would think that the film would have already gone into production by now.

EW states the studio has reached out to three directors so far, which include Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Gus Van Sant (Milk) and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) to gauge their interest in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which is going to be split up into two separate films.

No decision will be made until screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg's script outline is delivered to the directors sometime next week. Breaking Dawn is the fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer's popular series.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack.
