The Hangover Part III. The Final Trailer

As if you could forget, the Wolfpack is back. We've had one main trailer for The Hangover Part III and now here comes the second, which boasts some new footage and a proper idea of what the plot is about, beyond “the guys take a road trip.” It would appear that, in the wake of his father’s death (and even before) Zach Galifianakis ’ man-child Alan has gone off his meds, acting weirder than ever. Which is saying something, given that it’s Alan. So Pack pals Phil ( Bradley Cooper ), Stu ( Ed Helms ) and Doug ( Justin Bartha ) stage an intervention, aiming to whisk him off to rehab at New Horizons. Yet en route, they’re ambushed and cornered by John Goodman ’s vengeful villain, who is chasing Mr Chow ( Ken Jeong ) for stealing a hefty haul of cash. Holding Doug as hostage, Goodman sends the lads out to find Chow and bring him in, a mission that will take them to Tijuana and their old stomping ground of Las Vegas, among other places. So while all the ads so far have promised

The Hangover 3 New Images. Chow Is Back!

The Hangover 3 , the concluding part of Todd Phillips ' boozy pill-ogy, probably won't be diverging too much from the formula that's worked thus far. Mike Tyson may not be returning, and there's no wedding this time out, but rest assured, the carnage will continue. And, thanks to these new EW stills, here's some evidence of the fact. Yes, that's everyone's favourite go-to sociopath Mr. Chow ( Ken Jeong ) back to add to the mayhem. "The Hangover Part III is Alan's story,'' director Todd Phillips tells EW of Zach Galifianakis ' Rohypnol-packing mad man. ''He's going through a crisis after the death of his father. The Wolfpack is all he has.''    Phil ( Bradley Cooper ), Doug ( Justin Bartha ) and Stu ( Ed Helms ) all return to help Alan through his grief. "This time, there's no wedding", runs the official synopsis, "no bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits th

Liam Neeson Cut From The Hangover Part II

Liam Neeson won’t be appearing in the upcoming The Hangover Part II when the film is released in theaters May 26. The actor had filmed scenes as a tattoo artist for the Bangkok-set sequel, but his cameo was edited out when director Todd Phillips was forced to do reshoots and Neeson was not available, according to published reports. In the film, the tattoo artist is one of the characters the guys have to track down during their adventures. The character is described as “crazy” and “intense,” and “someone you’re afraid to talk to.” The Notebook director Nick Cassavetes stepped in to fill Neeson’s shoes. The role was originally meant for Mel Gibson , but after several people in the project objected, the role was recast. Please Leave A Comment- source- THR

Hangover 2 Details

You Ready For More Mr. Chow? Todd Phillips is a busy man. After making comedy look pretty effortless with The Hangover , he's back hoping to repeat the trick with roadtripper Due Date, all while gearing up for the another dose of Rohypnol-fuelled mayhem with The Hangover 2 . The sequel, scheduled to start shooting later this month, will take the bruised and battered pals to climes near and far - and in both cases, no doubt, seriously hazardous. "It takes place in Bangkok and LA," Phillips told Empire. "There's gonna be some fucked-up surprises." While the potential for fucked-up surprises in Patpong is virtually limitless, it's less of a shock to learn that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will be back at the heart of the carnage. "The three guys are back," Phillips said. "Mr. Chow's back too." More carnage, more eccentric gangster weirdness from Ken Jeong and the promise of a tiger encounter in its na

John Belushi To Get A Second Life

John Belushi To Get A Second Life John Belushi may be getting a (second) second life on the big screen. "The Pursuit of Happyness" screenwriter Steven Conrad and "The Hangover" director-producer Todd Phillips are developing a biographical film about the late comedian's life. Warner Bros. recently acquired the rights from Belushi's estate. Conrad will script the project and Phillips will produce, though he has not yet committed to directing it. Alexandra Milchan and Bonnie Timmerman are also producing. In a typically difficult process that saw the rights deal come together, then fall apart, then come back together again, the project would be the latest attempt at a full-scale biopic about the " Saturday Night Live " cast member and film star who died of a drug overdose in 1982 at age 33. Belushi's life was famously detailed in Bob Woodward's 1985 biography, " Wired: The Short Life and Fast Times of John Belushi. " That

Robert Downey Jr Talks Due Date And Sherlock Holmes 2

Robert Downey Jr Talks Due Date And Sherlock Holmes 2 Moviehole got a chance to talk to Robert Downey Jr about his upcoming movie DUE DATE , and Robert told them it's the second greatest movie he’s ever done.. So what is the first? “I’ve seen the movie. It’s like the second greatest movie I’ve ever done – largely due to Zach Galifianakis, who is crazy good in every scene, and Todd Phillips, who is just one of the great American directors. I guarantee you’re going to love it – I went to the last screening and people were literally saying ‘Oh my god, It’s gotta stop – my face hurts!’ Downey says Galifianakis doesn’t necessarily improvise in the film he “just does what he wants- whether the scene needs it or not”. The actor said he had constantly ask his juvenile co-star, who he jokingly said acted like a children that just “did what he wants” at any time on the set, if “he needed to go to the bathroom because we’re gonna be in the car for an hour”. Project X Is In the Works And It Doesn't Star A Monkey

Project X Is In the Works And It Doesn't Star A Monkey Don't be confused with the 1987 movie with the same title that starred a Monkey and Matthew Broderick, this is not a reboot of that film. Project X has got tongues wagging in Hollywood. Warner Bros, Todd Phillips and Joel Silver are mobilizing a raunchy comedy with a $12 million budget, a hard R-rating, under that working title. British video/commercials director Nima Nourizadeh will be making his feature directing debut, and Phillips will be the producer and creative godfather. There are several unusual facets to this film. First, when was the last time Warner Bros spent as low as $12 million on a movie? Second, the real title and the concept are being kept secret--all I can get is that it's an outrageous high concept--and the filmmakers won't be distributing full scripts, only watermarked pages to prospective college-aged cast. But the most intriguing part is that the filmmakers are intent that every actor c

Harrison Ford To Join Cowboys & Aliens?

Harrison Ford Joining Cowboys & Aliens? Latino Review claims that Harrison Ford maybe joining the cast of the upcoming Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens. Jon Favreau himself posted the following on Twitter this evening... "Some very cool Cowboys & Aliens casting news coming soon..." If true, the sci-fi spaghetti Western would be Ford's first foray into comic-book movies. Based on Scott Mitchell Rosenberg's graphic novel, Cowboys & Aliens is set in a Wild West made even 200% wilder by the presence of extra-terrestrials who enslave humans and slug it out with a united force of cowboys and Apache warriors. Hypothetically, of course, Ford would be joining up with Daniel Craig, who stepped into the role of gunslinger Zeke Jackson when Robert Downey Jr. pulled out. It's a grizzled-faced pairing to scare the hell out of any alien with a pulse. Late last week before the holiday break I got a tip from a source that Harrison Ford was about to jo

The Hangover 2 Cast Is Ready To Go And Get A Huge Raise

The Hangover 2 Cast Is Ready To Go And Get A Huge Raise With the sucess of The Hangover Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures had commissioned a script for another installment.  The film grossed  $467 million worldwide and the film became Hollywood’s biggest grossing R rated comedy ever. I’m told that Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms will each be paid in the vicinity of $5 million against 4% of first dollar gross. Director/producer Todd Phillips will be paid around $10 million against 10%. For Phillips, there are also escalators and bonuses that insure if the sequel does anywhere close to the original’s $467 million worldwide gross, Phillips will not make less than his income on the original. That meter is still running, and it has passed the $50 million mark. Why was The Hangover 2 such a difficult deal to put together? It was a perfect storm of leverage: the three stars made less than $1 million collectively on a film that became Hollywood’s biggest grossing R rated c

Robert Downey Jr Will Not Be John Favreau's Cowboy

Robert Downey Jr Will Not Be John Favreau's Cowboy The actor, who had been poised to reunite with "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau for the science-fiction western "Cowboys & Aliens," won't star in the film. The movie, sources s ay, will still move forward with Favreau. But Downey has fallen off the project, and studio DreamWorks is seeking a new hero to replace him. Production is tentatively set to begin this year for a planned release in summer 2011. Originally a serialized graphic novel, "Cowboys & Aliens" focuses on outer-space creatures who land in Arizona circa the mid-19th century intent on enslaving the local population -- until a group of cowboys and Apache Indians fight back. (There was a further Iron Man connection to "Cowboys:" writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby wrote an original draft of the script.) Downey was set to play the gunslinger Zeke Jackson, who leads the anti-alien revolt. But scheduling issues -- Downey
