When MTV News caught up with the actor, our correspondent mentioned to Jackson that there are a lot of people who would love to see just him in a S.H.I.E.L.D. film. "Really?" he questioned. Marvel is stacking the deck with characters for Joss Whedon's Avengers , and, while a handful have gotten a chance to shine in the spotlight—most recently, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man —one would think that if Avengers is a hit, some of those heroes might get their own movies. But one most definitely will not. Samuel L. With The Avengers hitting the big screen in just a few short weeks, onepercase thought it'd be a good idea to refresh everyone's knowledge of the different Avengers beginnings. " Marvel's The Avengers " is hitting screens everywhere in three weeks. This past Wednesday, the film had its big Hollywood premiere, and after the screening Twitter was ablaze with positive comments from those who saw it. (Full disclosure: I was there and it is indeed awesome.) But is the movie really finished, or are the Avengers assembling one last time? On Thursday the cast came together for a press conference in Beverly Hills, and Robert Downey Jr . let it slip that the superhero group might not be done saving the world.
