BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Sam Jackson Talks About A S.H.I.E.L.D. Film

Fourteen days, "Avengers" fans! You know, not that we're counting or anything. Oh, who are we kidding? Of course, we're counting down! To help as you drudge through the long days that lie ahead before the midnight release, we have another "Avengers" interview for you: Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson!

When MTV News caught up with the actor, our correspondent mentioned to Jackson that there are a lot of people who would love to see just him in a S.H.I.E.L.D. film.

"Really?" he questioned. "Just handling it?"
The actor was surprised because he knows there are key characters necessary for any S.H.I.E.L.D. movie. "Natasha is part of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hawkeye is part of S.H.I.E.L.D., and I couldn't do a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie without those two people. They're essential elements of what's there," Jackson said.

He doesn't just mean the Earth's mightiest heroes either. "Now we know Agent [Maria] Hill is an essential element of S.H.I.E.L.D. so she would have to be there. And I'm still not sure if she's the eyes and ears of the council hanging around inside their place and telling people, 'We've got these superheroes over here!' She wants my job," the actor jokes. "I can tell. She's ambitious."

And what about more S.H.I.E.L.D. scenes in the upcoming sequels "Captain America 2," "Thor 2," and "Iron Man 3"? We're sure the Earth will need the law enforcement team in those flicks.

"I don't know how much of S.H.I.E.L.D. [Marvel] want[s] to expose...I mean, we're not superheroes. We're more of a shadow world. So, it would be more like 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' with good toys—closer to a 'Bond' movie than a superhero movie."

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
