So when I found out that Ursula wanted to give reviewing a shot I was right on it. So without further adieu here is her review. SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN is a 127 minuets full of magic and visual enlightenment. Directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Evan Daugherty, John Lee Hancock, and Hossein Amini . I left the theatre feeling like I just saw a series of paintings brought to life by body language and a brilliant score interpret ting the story of Snow painted as the ultimate heroine. It was so intricate in its artistic nature. The music score by James Newton Howard was lovely and brought an epic quality to the film. I was thrilled with all the unexpected magic and creatures. SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN Review By: RAMA Matt's review will be up once he is back from the Prometheus screening tonight. But in the mean time RAMA is back with another review. SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN visually redefined fairy tales, it’s nothing like I’ve ever seen before. The dark forest should get a best supporting nod for being ridiculously creepy. It plays Jedi mind tricks on your eyes. I’m sure those who’ve tried LSD once in their lifetime would want to get lost in that place. All joking aside, the film does have too much emphasis on the visual, which is not surprising, seeing that this is first time feature director Rupert Sanders’ field of expertise, if you’re familiar with his commercials especially the one for Sears’ Arboretum, but the script is weak and Sanders’ direction is rather uninspired. Sure the movie has all kinds of freaky fairies and gigantic troll and other mind-twisting imagery, but a film can’t rely just on those. And how is it titled SNOW WHIT

This film, of course, sees Theron play Queen Ravenna , the antagonist who has taken control of Snow White's ( Kristen Stewart ) kingdom and caused no end of misery for those who live there, not least by killing young women to keep herself young and beautiful. Clearly, that's worked out for Ravenna; maybe not so well for those around her. We're quite liking this most recent poster: it's a bit stylish, a bit Black Swan, a bit of a play on Ravenna's name, and a bit twisted and sinister. All good things in a baddie, right? The new trailer for Snow White And The Huntsman has arrived - and it's a good 'un. As previously noted, the tone is darker and more action-orientated than previous adaptations of the tale, with Charlize Theron revelling in the role of evil Queen Ravenna and the VFX team working wonders with multiplying crows and shattering black glass. Watch the trailer after the Jump... Plus, dwarves! Played by Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Nick Frost, Bob Hoskins, Brian Gleeson and Johnny Harris, they're definitely short and serious, not jokey/happy/sneezey etc. Oh, and Sam Claflin is Prince William, and Thor himself is Chris Hemsworth is Eric, the Huntsman - though we're not quite sure whether he's meant to be Scottish or not, as we've only had a few lines from him.
