THIS MEANS WAR Movie Review By: RAMA

THIS MEANS WAR Movie Review By: RAMA Did RAMA enjoy this action romantic comedy? Make sure to follow him on Facebook and Twitter . Finally! A Valentine’s season movie that guys, who don’t care much for mushy lovey-duvey things, can also enjoy! THIS MEANS WAR is a blast! Chris Pine and Tom Hardy provide the action, and America’s sweetheart Reese Witherspoon provides the rom-com, with funnygirl Chelsea Handler who gets A+ in my book for being a great comic relief. Nice comeback by director McG who disappointed us back in 2009 with Terminator Salvation.. In the film, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy portray the world’s deadliest CIA operatives, as well as inseparable partners and best friends… until they fall for the same woman (Reese Witherspoon). Having once helped bring down entire enemy nations, they are now employing their incomparable skills and an endless array of high-tech gadgetry against their greatest nemesis ever – each other. If you’ve come to get purely entertained

I'll Be Back-New Terminator Film Moving Forward

I'll Be Back-New Terminator Film Moving Forward A new movie in the Terminator series, which last came to the screen in 2009's Terminator Salvation, may be one step closer to happening. According to Variety , the current owners of the rights to the franchise, a hedge fund called Pacificor LLC, announced today that it has hired the Hollywood talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) to help sell the rights to a studio or production company. That's a smart move, since Pacificor has no prior experience making movies. The fund picked up the Terminator rights for $29.5 million in an auction last February after the previous owners, a company called Halcyon, went bankrupt. Pacificor had some post-auction talks with Sony and Lionsgate, who were also bidding for the rights, but nothing came of that. The now-defunct Halcyon itself bought the rights in 2007 for $30 million from original producer Mario Kassar, with financial help from Pacificor. The package include the rights

"La Femme Nikita" Ordered By The CW The CW has picked up the pilot, an update of the 1990s action-thriller "La Femme Nikita." The French film "Nikita," about a young criminal who's trained to be an assassin by a top-secret government organization, was originally made by Luc Besson in 1990, then was remade in 1993 as a U.S. film starring Bridget Fonda called "Point of No Return." The story was then launched as a TV series in 1997 on USA Network. "Nikita" will give The CW its first non-supernatural action-drama. James Cameron Weighs In On Terminator Salvation

James Cameron Weighs In On Terminator Salvation Cameron sat down with MTV News- "I have seen it, and unfortunately I saw it the wrong way, on cable at the hotel, while I was working, over three nights because I don’t have much time," Cameron said. "It’s better than I thought it was going to be." Back-handed compliment much? But Cameron went on to praise McG and his creative team for their efforts while also noting that the movie was missing some essential elements that made the earlier films such classics. "It's actually quite reverential to the mythos of the 'Terminator' world," he said. "I think McG and the writers tried hard to keep reacquainting you with some of those ideas in the story that they were weaving. So actually I thought it was pretty cool. I did feel that it sort of lacked Je ne sais quoi. Although I love Sam [Worthington] in it. " No surprise there, considering Cameron has made Worthington the star of his 3-D alien lo

McG To Make Another Terminator Movie

McG To Make Another Terminator Movie The Halcyon Company is putting the Terminator Franchise up for sale and a buyer should be announced in February on next year. And McG really thinks they are going to let him Direct the next film, even if one gets made. Terminator-Salvation was that bad on a film, if they only stuck with the original ending. McG recently did a Blu-Ray Live commentary So what was the recation to what McG was saying? He just announced that he’s making another Terminator movie. Seriously. Oh and for those people who are punching themselves in the face that he’s making another one? He said he’s making one after that. And now McG is being coy about making another one? I don’t get it. And now he’s talking about a second or third movie again. He says Sarah Connor is going to be in the next film, but he’s not sure how he’s going to pull that off. Holy shit. He just said he thought he could make a better movie than #1 or #2. In answering a question about if Rober

Terminator Franchise Up For Sale?

Terminator Franchise Up For Sale? Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek, who acquired the science-fiction franchise in 2007 for $25 million and produced this year's sequel " Terminator Salvation ," are looking to sell the rights as several companies owned by the two producers work their way through Chapter 11 reorganization. Since "The Terminator" was released in 1984, the franchise rights have changed hands frequently. When the first movie came out, production company Hemdale Films owned a 50% interest and director James Cameron sold the other half to producer Gale Anne Hurd for $1. Carolco Pictures, owned by producers Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna, bought Hemdale's stake in 1990 for $10 million and released "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" the next year. In 1997, after Carolco filed for bankruptcy, they started a new venture, C2 Pictures, which bought their old company's stake at auction for $8 million and the remaining 50% from Hurd for $7 millio

Schwarzenegger To Own Terminator Franchise?

Schwarzenegger To Own Terminator Franchise? We all knew the latest Terminator film was not up to par. But now the franchise is in even more trouble then we thought. Schwarzenegger , now California governor, has been approached by a consortium to jointly buy the franchise rights, which would guarantee future Terminator films. It emerged he has not been paid fully for his cameo in the latest Terminator blockbuster. Neither has British actor Christian Bale, star of Terminator Salvation . The film’s producers named both actors as creditors when they filed for bankruptcy after their hedge fund backers demanded a return on their investment before the film had finished making money. They say they have been left with debts of more than $40million, despite taking $370million so far. The exact sums owed to the stars were not disclosed. Other creditors include MGM, Sony and Universal Studios. The petition was filed by Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek , who own the Terminator franchise. The
