George Lucas- Talks Star Wars And Red Tails

Exclusive George Lucas- Talks Star Wars And Red Tails
By:John Meneghetti

I had the pleasure of attending the 4th annual California Hall of Fame, on December 1st, in my hometown of Sacramento, CA

This year the California Museum was honoring 13 legendary Californians who have displayed a spirit of innovation and inspiration to the world.

The person that I wanted to talk to the most was "The Maker" George Lucas. I had the opportunity to visit ILM and Lucas Ranch in April of this year and this would be the icing on the cake. To have the opportunity meet and interview "The Great One " George Lucas.

I knew I didn't have alot of time to ask many questions, as always in Hollywood the main stars show up late and fly by little bloggers like me. But I would not let this chance pass me by!!

I wished I could have asked more interesting questions. What do u ask when u have 1 minute with the maker?

First, I introduced myself to Mr. Lucas when he came by and then I asked him the following:

Sandwichjohnfilms: Mr. Lucas, can you tell me how thing are going with your upcoming film "Red Tails"?

Lucas: Things are going really well. We are in post production and the film looks great and I am very excited for this film. It is near and dear to my heart.

Sandwichjohnfilms: How was it like working with Terrance Howard on the film?

Lucas: He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was very professional in every sense of the word

Sandwichjohnfilms: Also can I ask you about the upcoming Star Wars TV series? When will that be coming out?

Lucas: You mean the live action TV show right? As of right now there is no date for the TV, but we are meeting with writer's and trying to get the show going.

Sandwichjohnfilms- Will Boba Fett Being making an appearance in the show and will Daniel Logan be playing him in the Television Show?

Lucas- (With a smile) It is too early to say, but you never know.

I take this to mean that Boba will be making at least an appearance in the show. Daniel did you hear this?

As I thanked Mr. Lucas, I had to pull out that piece of paper. It was a once in a life time opportunity for a guy like me who has dreamed of starting a web site about movies.

He was very short with his answer and in a hurry to get inside. Let's hope I can get another chance to spend quality time with Mr. Lucas. And ask him some real questions...

Yes, that's right, I got his autograph.

Would like to Thank Randy from TheArnoldFans for taking these pictures for me. And make sure to read his Red Carpet Adventures.

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
