Dwayne Johnson Plays Will Sawyer a man who’s stuck in a tower trying to save his family from terrorist. Sound Familiar? Skyscraper is a perfect homage to Die Hard and 80’s Action Movies alike. With that being said this film couldn’t be coming out at a more perfect time. It’s the middle of the summer nothing huge coming out till the end of the month, but now we have this thrilling action film that just asks the audience to grab the biggest bucket of popcorn with tons of butter and salt that they can, then run straight into the theater to sit back relax and enjoy this film. The film has some quite astonishing visuals that really work and make not only the fires flash out, but also the heights of the tower stand out. This ends up putting you on the edge of your seat the whole time even if the story can feel predictable and foreshadows lots of events that you can see coming from a mile away.
