Talked about by team John Wick for a couple of years now, the TV spin-off from the Keanu Reeves -starring action franchise is officially moving forward in the States. US cable channel Starz, which is aligned with film producers Lionsgate, is working up The Continental , a series set in the Wick universe. As you might expect from that title, the show's focus will be the wider world assassins and the inner workings of the Continental Hotel chain that serves as a refuge for them. Wick originators Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are involved as producers alongside franchise writer Derek Kolstad. Chris Collins is in charge of writing the first episode and will run the show, with Stahelski stepping in to direct that initial outing.
