Fox is developing a TV series version of the Arnold Schwarzenegger action classic “ True Lies ,” Variety has confirmed. Fox has given the potential series a put pilot commitment. The one-hour drama would be based on the 1994 film, which saw Schwarzenegger playing a superspy who keeps his true occupation a secret from his wife and daughter. The original also starred Jamie Lee Curtis, Tom Arnold, Bill Paxton, Tia Carrere, Art Malik, Eliza Dushku, and Grant Heslov. The film was a financial success, grossing over $378 million worldwide. Marc Guggenheim will write and executive produce the project. James Cameron, who directed the film, will executive produce along with McG, Jon Landau, Rae Sanchini, and Mary Viola. McG is also attached to direct the pilot. 20th Century Fox TV will produce in association with McG’s Wonderland Sound & Vision and Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment. “True Lies” joins a long list of reboots for this development season. Same clothes. Same issues. 40 years later. Headed back to Haddonfield one last time for Halloween," Curtis tweeted. David Gordon Green, the co-creator of HBO's Eastbound & Down and director of movies such as Pineapple Express and Our Brand Is Crisis, will helm a new movie with a script co-written by him and frequent collaborator Danny McBride. That announcement was made in February by John Carpenter, the co-creator of the franchise and director the 1978 original. Blumhouse, Miramax and Trancas are the production entities involved. Age of Heroes By: Randy Jennings I’m not sure who was more excited to see the latest Marvel show, me or my eight-year-old son but " Marvel Universe LIVE! ” is certainly an opportunity for family members to bond and geek-out together! The live-action show, heavy on special effects and stunts, is on tour now and just came my way to the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. This was my first time going to this arena so I was excited to get a peek inside to see the layout and the show’s constructed sets. Hundreds of fans were walking in and I was overwhelmed by the cuteness of children all wearing their tiny Marvel costumes to show support for their favorite hero. Before the show starts, at first sight, the stage is unimpressive but when the show begins, the magic happens. To our surprise, we’d see the once boring, single-colored stage now illuminated with a full environment, which was digitally projected from above with the latest technology. The show
