Suspenseful. A perfect thriller! RAMA has returned. The screenwriter who gave us “Sicario” and “Hell or High Water” has come back with “Wind River” which he also directed and I am now convinced more than ever that Taylor Sheridan is one of the best storytellers of our time. There are often calls, whenever a remake is announced, for studios (if they must remake at all) to focus on films that aren't considered classics. 1988's Corey Haim/Corey Feldman comedy License To Drive , for all its nostalgia appeal, falls into that category. And now original producer John Davis is cooking up a new version – with a twist. In keeping with some recent takes on movies (such as the Anna Faris-focused Overboard), the new License will feature female leads. Writers Alish Brophy and Scott Miles are aboard to develop the new concept, which will be a spin on the original. The '80s License saw Haim as 16-year-old Les Anderson, desperate to get out on the road, but fails his driving test.
