Miramax and Broad Green Pictures have announced that Thornton will reprise his role as Willie Soke, and production on " Bad Santa 2 " will start in January in Montreal, Quebec. However, there's not much else in the way of details. There's no word on who has penned the script, or who will be directing. THR is reporting Josh Duhamel and Famke Janssen have signed on to star in Giancarlo Esposito 's directorial project, the satirical drama This Is Your Death . Esposito is an Emmy nominated actor known for his roles in Breaking Bad and the recently released The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials . He's stepping behind the camera to direct This is Your Death, which is focused on a reality show that has contestants ending their lives for the audience’s enjoyment. Duhamel will play Adam Rogers, a game show host who is driven to keep ratings up, and egged on by network executive Ilana Katz ( Janssen ). Along with helming, Esposito will star as Mason Washington, a man who is struggling to keep his family afloat. The original script was written by Kenny Yakkel and revised by Noah Pink.
