According to Variety New Line is moving forward with a sequel to last year’s horror hit “ Annabelle ” with Gary Dauberman returning to write a script. “ Annabelle ,” directed by John R. Leonetti with Peter Safaran and James Wan producing, generated over $250 million in worldwide grosses on a $6.5 million budget as a spin-off from Wan’s 2013 hit “ The Conjuring .” The film was based on a possessed doll named Annabelle, as described by paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and set in California in 1969. “Annabelle” starred Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton and Alfre Woodard. There are no other attachments to the sequel at this point. Dauberman’s credits include “Crime of the Century” for Chris Morgan and Universal and “Vessels,” a mystery set on the Queen Mary. THR is reporting Rosario Dawson will be a member of the Bat-family in Lego Batman, Warner Bros.' spinoff of The Lego Movie. Will Arnett is reprising the Caped Crusader role he originated in Lego Movie. Michael Cera is voicing the hero’s sidekick, Robin, while Zach Galifianakis is in negotiations to play the Joker. Dawson will voice Barbara Gordon, the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon who later becomes the crime-fighting heroine Batgirl. Chris McKay, the animation supervisor on Lego Movie, is directing the project, which has a script written by author-screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the custodians of the Lego screen brand, are producing. The details behind the release have been revealed! Story by Matt Cummings We've been releasing news all morning about Star Wars: The Force Awakens , from a breakdown of the new poster to the marathon event to be held prior to Episode VII 's opening. Perhaps the biggest news - the impending release of another trailer and the date when tickets would be released - has been discussed for awhile. According to a press release from StarWars.com, the trailer will be shown during the Monday Night Football game on October 19th. It's supposed to be a full trailer, and not a quick 'look' into the universe as suggested by the press release. That will most likely be made available on YouTube as soon as it's released. The other big news - the pre-ticketing process - has also been clarified. Tickets for most theater chains go on sale on Monday, October 19th beginning at 7PM PST/10PM EST.
