Inside the Bucket Podcast #66

This week's episode of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital mastery! On this week's truncated edition of I nside the Bucket , no one is brave enough to battle Matt for top host on the show except for Brandon, so the two duke it out for the heart and mind of our single podcast listener! The boys sit down to deliver the best movie and television news from our website SANDWICHJOHNFILMS.COM with all the style of a bull and full of greasy attitude. The show kicks off with our news segment, as Matt seeks Brandon's thoughts on a wide variety of topics, from the Tom Hollard/Spider-man announcement, Jason Statham returning for Fast & Furious 8, as well as the new title for Independence Day . After a quick pee and beer break, they go into their Rants and Raves, where they bitch and complain about all the things they're watching, following, and are generally pissed off about from the past week. The show ends with a review of Ted 2, but not bef

Season 2 Could Be DAREDEVIL VS. THE PUNISHER

Nerdist  is reporting that co-showrunner, Marco Ramirez referred to season 2 as DAREDEVIL VS. THE PUNISHER . They even suggested you to read Marvel Comics’ limited series, “ Daredevil vs. Punisher: Means & Ends ” So is Punisher the big bad villain in this new season because he kills and Daredevil had vowed not to? Perhaps. But now that Kingpin is away in prison, that leads to the city’s other villains to rise and wreak havoc, filling the void and Punisher might be motivated to just end all of them. I guess philosophical clash, much like Batman V Superman, would be the thing that gets Daredevil and Punisher at odds. But what about Elektra and Bullseye? They’re not confirmed yet for this season 2 but it’d be interesting to see how it all plays out when those two enter the picture. Please Leave A Comment-

#ChrisPine & Zachary Quinto Signed On For Star Trek 4

The third installment of the rebooted Star Trek franchise boldly heads into production this week in Vancouver, and its cast is getting a big pay raise. At the same time, the studio behind Star Trek Beyond quietly has locked up two key players for a potential fourth installment. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Paramount and producer-financier Skydance Entertainment recently completed last-minute renegotiations with the Star Trek stars, a move that has added as much as $10 million to $15 million to the budget. The project’s slow development process may have been partly to blame, as well as the rising star power of the actors, especially Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana . When the original cast — Pine, Saldana, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin and John Cho — signed on for the movie that re-launched the franchise in 2009, they did so with options for two sequels. Despite the fact that studios often will give stars big new deals in case of success, no re-ne

TV Review: Hannibal “Aperitivo”

Everyone wants a piece of Dr. Lecter. By Brandon Wolfe So massive was the bloodbath that ended Hannibal ’s second season that four episodes into Season 3, we’re still dealing with the aftershocks from that event. “Aperitivo” finally picks up with the entire cast and stands as a showcase for just how much Hannibal Lecter has damaged all of these people, both physically and emotionally. Everyone in “Aperitivo” is walking around with some Lecter-initiated war wounds, and though the cannibal barely appears in the episode (and even when he does, he’s consigned to brief flashbacks or dream sequences), his presence is deeply felt. So heavy is the shadow he casts over all of these people that he doesn’t need to be in their immediate orbit, doesn’t even need to be on the same side of the world, to consume their every waking moment. Take Alana Bloom, the last major question mark left hanging over the slaughterhouse that was once Hannibal’s home. She, too, survived, but with a shattered pelv

Marvel Collector Corps Review: June 2015

Marvel's second submission is...well...smallish. Review by Matt Cummings The opening salvo by Marvel Collector Corps in the subscription box war resulted in a fabulous and memorable April , complete with a great Funko Hulkbuster and impressive t-shirt, along with a ton of other stuff. Whether it could sustain it with a solid June followup was the only question/concern, while competing with excellent Loot Crates from April , May , and June . Well, the boxes have shipped and I'm force to utter the same word I've used to summarize my entire feeling about the Ant-man movie: MEH. The Promise Before we begin, let's look at the deal again: promising a value of $50, the box would keep the "fluff" (their words) to a minimum with Funko partnering each time to deliver an exclusive figure. Joining at the Founders level would get you an 8" exclusive figure on your one-year anniversary, but you can also subscribe at the Collector level at $25 with $
