With Pixels , giant versions of video-game enemies are attacking locales such as London, Paris and San Francisco. Yes, the likes of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Eiffel Tower and the Houses of Parliament are once more being assaulted, this time by Pac-Man, Centipede and Space Invaders. It’s all in service of Adam Sandler’s new action-comedy, which finds extra-terrestrials misreading video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war. They decide to attack us using versions of ships and other icons from games and mankind has to fight back.
