BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

TV Review: Marvel's Daredevil Season 1

The horned one goes from Affleck to Netflix. Review by Brandon Wolfe Daredevil, Marvel’s “man without fear,” got off to a fairly disastrous live-action start with an eponymous theatrical film in 2003 starring Ben Affleck. That film, an overly melodramatic, atrociously clichéd instance of pre- Iron Man superhero detritus (albeit one with a killer Evanescence song), was so poorly received that it spawned neither a sequel nor a reboot (even 2005’s horrible Fantastic Four got both), the rights languishing in limbo for a decade before reverting back to Marvel Studios, their rightful owner. Rather than inject Daredevil into its intricate cinematic tapestry, Marvel, always eager to expand their reign in the bid for complete pop-cultural domination, went a different route, opting instead to launch Daredevil as a binge-friendly Netflix event series, the first of several it has planned. While it might have initially seemed as though such a significant character, one who once anchored

All of these characters have deep, dark pasts, and I think that the past catches up to some of us a little bit." On where the film picks up Widow's story, Johansson said, "At this stage, when you see the Widow, she's — especially in Avengers, these characters all have a past, and hers is a very complex one, where she's realizing — and it's kind of a continuation of The Winter Soldier — 'I've never made an active choice. Avengers: Age of Ultron Interview With Jeremy Renner

Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton / Hawkeye : Here is a brief history on the character he plays after the Jump... An Avenger and master archer who previously worked as an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. Whedon said that Hawkeye interacts more with the other characters in the film, as opposed to the first film where the character had been "possessed pretty early by a bad guy and had to walk around all scowly." As the character did not appear in any other of Marvel's Phase Two films, Whedon stated Age of Ultron sheds light on to what the character was doing since the end of The Avengers. About the character, Renner said, "[Hawkeye] is kind of a loner anyway, and he’s a team player only 'cause he sort of has to be. He’s not really a company man. Captain America can be that guy. In [Age of Ultron] you'll understand why [Hawkeye] thinks the way he thinks." Please Leave A Comment-

Michelle MacLaren Has Exited Wonder Woman

The invisible jet needs a new pilot. By Brandon Wolfe Michelle MacLaren, the prolific TV veteran, has exited the director’s chair of Warner Bros’ upcoming Wonder Woman film. MacLaren, who has cut her teeth on such shows as Breaking Bad , The Leftovers and Better Call Saul , has cited “creative differences” as the reason for the split in a statement. The Wonder Woman film, starring Gal Gadot, is set for release on June 23, 2017, and the character will make her debut in next year’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice . While unexpected director turnovers happen from time to time (even to the almighty Marvel ), such an early instance of behind-the-scenes tumultuousness isn’t exactly an encouraging sign for the burgeoning DC Cinematic Universe.
