BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Hollywood Shuffle Arrives On Blu-ray April 28th

Winky Dinky Dog & HO CAKE. This film is one of my favorite comedies to date. And now it arrives on Blu-ray for the first time on APRIL 28th A satire on the ups & downs of being a black actor in Hollywood, Hollywood Shuffle writer/producer/director Robert Townsend (The Five Heartbeats) stars as Bobby Taylor, a young black actor whose attempts to find work are dashed when told that he's not "black enough" for the roles being offered. With jobs limited to stereotypes (gang-bangers, pimps and Uncle Toms'), Bobby's struggles are told through a series of comic fantasies and dreams, making all-too-real that he needs to do the Hollywood Shuffle. Co-starring Keenen Ivory Wayans (Scary Movie, TV's “In Living Color”), Anne-Marie Johnson (Pursuit of Happyness), and Helen Martin (Kiss The Girls, TV's “227”), Hollywood Shuffle is written, produced & directed by Robert Townsend (Streets of Fire, The Five Heartbeats, The Mighty Quinn, A Soldier&#

Pee-wee's Back For a Big Holiday

’80s icon heads back to the playhouse. By Brandon Wolfe Pee-wee Herman will make his long-awaited return on Netflix , as the streaming giant has announced that it will exclusively premiere Pee-wee’s Big Holiday , the third film starring Paul Reubens’ iconic character. Reubens will produce the film alongside Judd Apatow. John Lee, a veteran of Comedy Central’s Broad City and Inside Amy Schumer , will direct from a script by Reubens and Paul Rust. Production begins in March. The film centers around Pee-wee’s meeting with a mysterious stranger that inspires the grey-suited goofball take his first-ever holiday (which, wasn’t what he did in Pee-wee’s Big Adventure technically taking a holiday, or am I too hung up on the British sense of the word?). It is the first film to feature the character since 1988’s Big Top Pee-wee . Discuss this story with fellow SJF fans on Facebook . Marvel Drops Official Avengers: Age of Ultron Poster

Poster gets the point across. By Brandon Wolfe Marvel has released the official one-sheet for this summer’s feverishly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron . The crowded, heavily photoshopped image isn’t huge on wow factor, but it does its job well enough. It does show off all the Avengers, after all, and it’s not like you aren’t seeing this thing anyway. They could put out a poster full of stick figures and still make a billion in their sleep. More intriguing are the names appearing in the credits block beneath the image, revealing that Marvel second-stringers Hayley Atwell , Idris Elba, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders and Stellan Skarsgård will all be appearing in the film. None of those names are too surprising, but some of them had not previously been confirmed. This one is going to be a full reunion. Discuss this story with fellow SJF fans on Facebook . TV Review: Better Call Saul "Hero"

Jimmy McGill plays the long con right into a career. Review by Brandon Wolfe Better Call Saul continues using the device of dipping even further into Jimmy McGill’s past to help inform the man we see in the series’ present (which, in turn, informs the man we saw in Jimmy’s Breaking Bad -set future) to terrific effect, this week showing us what an elaborate con artist the guy once was as a sketchy bottom-feeder and how that trait hadn’t diminished in any way once Jimmy started putting on a suit. Past Jimmy strolls down an alley with a drinking buddy he just met and the two stumble across the wallet and then the passed-out body of a large man who, in his drunken stupor, likes to talk tough about his Van Damme-like roundhouse kicking abilities. While Jimmy’s new pal cleans out the contents of the fat man’s wallet, Jimmy is more interested in the Rolex on the drunken sot’s wrist. Recognizing that the Rolex’s worth far exceeds the contents of the wallet, Drinking Buddy frantically h
