BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

TV Review: Gotham "Rogues' Gallery"

Read on to see what's going down in Gotham this week Gotham “Rogues' Gallery” Review by Brandon Wolfe It would appear that Gotham didn’t make any resolutions for the New Year. The show kicks off 2015 still plodding along as tepidly as it did during its dismal fall run, the same key problems remaining intact. If the show is going to blossom into something worthwhile during its first season, perhaps it’s saving that for the spring, that time of the year when all that is withered begins to bloom. That or it will continue to die on the vine. It could go either way. Displaced from the GCPD for his unwavering straight-arrow crusading, Gordon has landed in a menial gig as a security guard at the newly reopened (yet still dilapidated) Arkham Asylum, overseeing lavish inmate talent shows, the likes of which are almost certainly commonplace at institutions for treating the criminally insane. But because Gordon watching incarcerated felons perform dinner theater would threa

Gambit & The Assassin’s Creed Released Date Announced

While it has been picking up speed thanks to the casting of Channing Tatum in the lead, 20th Century Fox’s planned new Gambit spin-off film has now locked in a release date – for the States at least – pencilling in an October 7, 2016 slot. And that’s despite the film still lacking a confirmed director – presumably we can expect that announcement any day now. Few details have emerged about the film thus far, though Tatum has described how he sees the character: “Gambit was always like the woman-loving, cigarette-smoking, drinking guy. He was the punk rock of all the superheroes. He’s a thief. He kind of rode the line.” There is still talk he may actually first be seen in X-Men: Apocalypse , though it could just be a brief cameo. It’s just one of a batch of announcements from Fox about their upcoming slate, which also includes word that the third Planet Of The Apes film (to be directed by Dawn’s Matt Reeves) has switched places with the company’s second new Fantastic Four film.

Olivia Wilde Looking Creepy In The First Image From The Lazarus Effect

The Lazarus Effect is about a group of medical students who experiment bringing dead matter back to life. Spoiler alert: One of the characters dies, of course, and they try the technique on her. “And it works. She comes back to life, but she comes back to life as not the woman that she was when she died.” Creepy. Blumhouse Productions’ upcoming sci-fi/horror flick The Lazarus Effect , which arrives in theaters Feb. 27. Those creative risks started with the director, David Gelb , known for his award-winning documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi —not the obvious choice. “But he had a great take on the material,” which Blum describes as “a really unique take on bringing someone back from the dead.” If the plot sounds familiar to you, then you’ve probably seen Flatliners (1990), starring Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, and Kiefer Sutherland. “All of us really liked that movie,” Blum says. “I feel like we’re tipping our hat to Flatliners, for sure, in this movie.” So if The Lazarus Effect
