Hot Tub Time Machine 2 Trailer

That Hot Tub Time Machine sequel you don’t remember ordering? Well, it’s here with a new trailer, a trimmed-down cast, some fresh time-travel mayhem and one or two big laughs to sink your teeth into. After July's red-band trailer, the Hot Tub Time Machine – or "HTTM" – party is underway again. Gone, of course, is John Cusack , leaving the Hot Tub Time Machine 2 spotlight on the three time-twisting amigos, Nick ( Craig Robinson ), Jacob ( Clark Duke ) and Lou ( Rob Corddry ), with Adam Scott stepping in as the son of Cusack’s character. Yes, he’s only seven years younger than the man who played his father but, well, there are TIME TRAVEL REASONS to explain this. There are also time travel reasons to explain their new-found fortunes, because this one sees the crew making like Biff Tannen in Back To The Future 2 and using their time portal to win riches, success and fame. Corddry “invents” the internet and Nick takes credit for writing ‘Call Me Maybe’. But then L

Top Five Review: Funny Moments Lessened By Needless Drama

Top Five 's outrageous humor can't keep its larger story afloat. For Comedian Chris Rock, life has been one assembly line film after another: Grown Ups, What To Do When You're Expecting, Grown Ups 2, etc. So it comes as a bit of a surprise when he tries something deeper, because his behavior for years (sans Dogma ) has been something very different. For Top Five - a project he wrote, directed, and stars - the many monumentally funny exchanges can't keep the interesting premise afloat. Andre Allen (Rock) is a superstar of film whose bear-suited cop comedies Hammy The Bear have netted him millions and demanding fans who want to see more of the same. Not for Allen: he's ready to star in important films, such as the poorly-received historical drama Uprize, about the Haitian slave rebellion. At the same time, he's getting ready to marry reality TV star Erica Long (Gabrielle Union), while sitting with press members who couldn't care less about his n

Exodus - Gods and Kings Review: Choppy Biblical Blandness

Exodus: Gods and Kings is utterly forgettable, poorly-cast nonsense. It's not hard to screw up Moses. Slaves wanting freedom against a dictatorial pharaoh, combined with plagues and the parting of the Red Sea. Yet somehow, Director Ridley Scott manages just that with Exodus: Gods and Kings , turning in a poorly-written and horribly-cast dud that wastes our time on so many levels. You've heard the story before: Egyptian warrior Moses (Christian Bale) and his life-long friend Ramses (Joel Edgerton) are soon divided when news reaches the royalty of Moses' birth to the very people which father Seti (John Tuturo) has enslaved to build his massive city. After Moses is banished from Egypt, he begins his long trek to save the Hebrews with Godly help in the form of plagues and murder. As Moses leads his people to a final showdown with Ramses' forces, God intervenes with the mother of all parlor tricks, sending Moses to fulfill his destiny. Scott's writing t

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Character Names Revealed

We finally got to meet some new characters in the teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens , but now we’re getting to put some names with the faces. J.J. Abrams , the film’s co-writer and director, and Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, have decided to reveal the identities of some of their new characters exclusively to EW—and they’ve done it in a retro fashion that should bring a smile to anyone familiar with the phrase “Collect ‘Em, Trade ‘Em.” That was the catchphrase of the Topps trading card company, which in addition to baseball players and comic book characters put out a series of collectible cards featuring scenes and characters from around the galaxy for the original 1977 Star Wars movie. See all the cards after the Jump... There were five rounds of Topps cards for that movie, each one designated by a different color, with red and blue leading the line-up. Right now, Abrams and Kennedy have mocked up three from the red series, and five from the blue ser
