BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

@BlancBiehnFilms Release "Fetish Factory" Poster By @aaronkkai

In the gritty, sexy and scary old school tradition of exploitation and grindhouse art comes the kick-ass poster for Blanc/Biehn Productions’ latest fright flick, “ Fetish Factory .” BBP commissioned Los Angeles based artist Aaron Kai to come up with a throwback concept and create artwork that would tell a story – using scenes from the film and building intrigue through visuals just like they did back in the 60s and 70s. Aaron Kai’s meticulously executed, photorealistic film-inspired artwork has been featured globally from Hollywood to Tokyo to commemorate high-profile landmark events including Blade Runner: The Final Cut 25™ Anniversary, The Bette Davis Centennial, and the Jules Verne Film Festival. Prominent collectors of Kai’s original works include Ridley Scott, Harrison Ford, and Clint Eastwood. “Fetish Factory” is written and directed by Staci Layne Wilson, based on a story by Lony Ruhmann. The plot centers on pin-up vixens vs. bloodthirsty zombies, and is set in post-apo

TV Review: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Face My Enemy”

TV Review: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Face My Enemy” By: Brandon Wolfe If “ Face My Enemy ” is about anything - beyond ‘ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ’s usual “Find Object X before Bad Guy Y does” gobbledygook - it’s about Agent May. May has been a frustrating character on a show that doesn’t really have another kind. The show has painted her from the start as the stoic warrior-woman, an agent so focused on her duties that she doesn’t have much left over for anything like a personal level. This is a workable character type provided you build upon it over time, finding cracks and hidden layers in the character’s façade. With May, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ has never really done that because the show doesn’t appear to know how to build upon anything in any sort of skillful manner. It can insert its characters into the requisite dramatic moments that shows like this require, but enhancing and nurturing basic character-building? There’s no evidence as of yet that such a skill is in thi

TV Recap: THE FLASH "THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE"

TV Recap: THE FLASH "THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE" By: Suepafly There’s a big fire raging, and Barry speeds towards the fire at about 350 mph. He overshoots the fire, and double backs with Cisco’s help. He makes it to the fire, and Cisco gets caught helping him the whole superhero thing. Barry clears the building, and asks Cisco what else he has for him before Caitlin puts the kibosh on their fun. Harrison points out that he should show some restraint, but Barry doesn’t think that Harrison has ever showed restraint to get to where he is. Harrison is also a pariah, so a little restraint can’t hurt. Cisco asks how Barry feels, the sensors were kicking back some odd readings, but Barry claims to never be better. Detective Joe calls Ba

The Park Is Open. #JurassicWorld Official Poster

So far, Universal has largely left it to director Colin Trevorrow to keep the hype machine churning for Jurassic World by premiering teaser imagery on his Twitter feed. He’s back with a new official poster, one designed to fire straight at the nostalgia centre of your brain with a simple display of the logo. The tagline, “ The Park is open ” ties in nicely with the plot of this new film. Set years after Steven Spielberg’s original, the attraction is now up and running. While it has been hugely successful, the place and its dino inhabitants have actually become a little less than thrilling for today’s blasé audiences. Naturally, the island's bosses decide to come up with something exciting and new. Which goes badly for everyone, with the running and screaming... Expect a lot of new dino-action this time around, a healthy set of nods to the past and plenty of practical effects work in among the flashier digital tricks. With Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick
