A conglomerate called the ROC Corporation has commissioned a series of robots called Automata Pilgrim 7000s as a means to erect walls and mechanical clouds to shield what’s left of the human race from the resulting radiation. These robots have been programmed to adhere to two protocols: They are not permitted to harm any form of life and they cannot reformat themselves or other robots in ways other than their creators have designated. Though no official confirmation has arrived from Team EON yet – they tend to wait until just before filming kicks off for such things – Baz Bamigboye is reporting that Lea Seydoux has been cast in the new Bond film in a role described as a “ femme fatale ”. Already returning core elements Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris , ready for a script read-through next month. And with filming reportedly set to start in six weeks, expect more casting details to start arriving soon. Very little else is known about the film so far, beyond the fact that Sam Mendes is back to direct (with Hoyte van Hoytema stepping in to replace Roger Deakins as cinematographer) and veteran 007 writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have reportedly been at work polishing the script from Skyfall’s John Logan. Dracula Untold Review By: Brandon Wolfe How many Dracula movies have there been? Hundreds, right? Dracula has to be one of the most frequently adapted characters in the history of cinema. His story has been told six ways to Sunday, making it deeply difficult to get excited about any new Dracula movie by this point, even one that announces right in the title that this particular Dracula tale has been untold. It’s been told. They've all been told. Get over yourself, with your “untold.” Yet one of the chief surprises of ‘ Dracula Untold ’ is that it does indeed find a new spin on the old Dracula chestnut. This version of the story is something new, a yarn that truly hasn't been told before, something the film accomplishes by throwing out the old story altogether and inventing a new one in its place. ‘Dracula Untold’ positions itself as half-superhero movie and half-‘Braveheart’ with a William Wallace that turns into a flurry of bats. The Judge suffers from too much melodramatic schmaltz to earn our respect or trust. Among the questions raised during our October movie preview , one included the ensemble court drama The Judge : could Actor Robert Downey Jr. rise above his Iron Man persona and deliver a great dramatic performance, while giving its deep cast their individual moments in the sun? The answer is not the strong yes we would have hoped, with the unnecessarily long film barely having enough to keep our attention. Hothead defense attorney Hank Palmer (Downey) lives the fast life, routinely getting the charges against his high-priced clients removed. It's not until the sudden death of his mother that Hank must return to his hometown to bury her and deal with the demons from his past. There's his brother Glen (Vincent D'Onofrio) whose high profile accident in their youth ruined his baseball career, and the girl Hank left behind (Vera Farminga), who now has a daughter. But it's the
