The new teaser trailer for Disney/Pixar’s INSIDE OUT . INSIDE OUT opens in theaters June 19, 2015! From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy ( Amy Poehler ), Fear ( Bill Hader ), Anger ( Lewis Black ), Disgust ( Mindy Kaling ) and Sadness ( Phyllis Smith ). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Al

October 2014 Movies On Our Radar

After two terrible months, October shapes up nicely in our On the Radar Preview. We hate being right. Last month, we predicted that the Domestic Box Office for September 2014 would be one of the worst in recent memory, and it sadly kept its promise, slogging in well under 2013 with $273.8m and nearly beating the venerable 2001 haul of $268.5m. The quarter was also the worst since 1996, taking in just $2.5b - yes, that period includes Summer 'blockbusters.' With these infamies behind us, we now move into the pre-Oscar/Holiday film season, a period that usually delivers memorable features while a few even make their case for February considerations. This month, we find an appealing mix of WWII tank drama, spine-tingling horror, as well as a few genuine Oscar contenders. Here is our On the Radar preview for October 2014: Annabelle (October 1st) Plot: A couple begin to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their hom

TV Review: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Heavy Is The Head”

TV Review: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. “Heavy Is The Head” By: Brandon Wolfe The terminal blandness of ‘ Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ’ continues in full force with no sign of stopping. And if the show’s stable of dull, lifeless characters weren’t already packed to capacity, we are gifted an additional stiff in the form of Lance Hunter, one of the mercenaries operating under Lucy Lawless’ dead-but-probably-not-because-c’mon Agent Hartley. Hunter is picked up by General Talbot and offered a deal to name his own price if he rolls over on Coulson. Hunter’s loyalties are kept murky, but ultimately he attempts to sell out our boring heroes. His reward for this is for Coulson to offer him a spot on the team, because the TV version of Coulson is a boob. Hunter is the primary focus of “Heavy is the Head,” which is asinine because we were barely introduced to him last week and the show already has upwards of ten useless regular characters as it is. Devoting all this attention to this unin

"Big" Is Headed To TV

Fox is going Big with Kevin Biegel and Mike Royce. The duo who previously teamed on Fox's military comedy Enlisted are adapting Tom Hanks' 1988 movie Big for the network, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The comedy, which has received a script plus penalty commitment from Fox, is described as an event series based on the movie that explores what it means to be an adult and what it means to be a kid — and how in today's world, those two things are more confused than ever. Biegel and Royce will pen the script and executive produce the half-hour comedy, which is envisioned as an ongoing series with a cable model episode count. The comedy hails from 20th Century Fox Television, the studio behind Enlisted. The comedy comes after 20th shopped Enlisted, a semi-autobiographical comedy based on Biegel and his brothers, to Yahoo after Fox canceled the critical darling but ratings underperformer after a one-season run. Following prolonged negotiations, Yahoo ultimately
