There was some talk recently that Batman's ex-Robin Nightwing might be joining the ranks of The CW's successful Arrow series. That turns out to be unfounded, since Nightwing is getting his own show on TNT. Bruce Wayne's young ward Dick Grayson will front the young super friends of new series Titans . This would be a version of the Teen Titans , although the "teen" part of that title is being ditched to indicate the show's more mature approach. The pilot episode will see Grayson "emerge from the shadow of Batman to become Nightwing, the leader of a fearless band of new superheroes including Starfire, Raven and many others". The show is pitched as "a dramatic adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book titles ever". Theo James will be going back to Underworld . The Divergent actor is attached as the lead in the fifth film in the vampire action franchise, which Lakeshore Entertainment is currently developing. James , who played a vampire named David in 2013's Underworld: Awakening , will be the central character in the new film, which is not a reboot but rather an expansion of the existing universe. Sources say there was an option on James because of his work on the previous film, and he'll star opposite two new female characters. Casting is underway for those roles, with plans to start shooting in the spring. Cory Goodman has been hired to write the script, as The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported. James' star has risen significantly since he appeared in Underworld: Awakening because of his lead role in YA franchise Divergent.
