ABC's Agents of SHIELD is bringing in another character from the comics. Friday Night Lights favorite and comic book fan Adrianne Palicki has been tapped to guest-star as Marvel superspy Bobbi Morse, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Best known to comics fans as Mockingbird, Palicki's character will appear in the fifth episode of the Marvel procedural with the potential to return; the episode will find her popping in perhaps not as an ally to Coulson (Clark Gregg) and his team. The 2010 explosion on the gigantic Gulf of Mexico oil rig Deepwater Horizon made headlines around the world not only for the immediate tragedy of workers who lost their lives in the accident, but for the wider damage caused to the local environment. A film about the tragedy was pushed into development a couple of years ago and Mark Wahlberg is now in talks to star. All Is Lost director J.C. Chandor is overseeing the film, which is now likely to feature Wahlberg as the second-in-command on the rig in the 48 hours up leading up to the disaster and the day itself. The behind-the-scenes tale will highlight stories of real-life heroism around the incident, which were not made public at the time but appeared in the script’s source material, the New York Times article Deepwater Horizon’s Final Hour. For a long time Star Wars fans have been clamoring for Disney/Lucasfilm to re-release the original, unaltered cut of the first Star Wars trilogy, and Comicbook.com  has now confirmed with two independent reliable sources that just such a plan is under way. According to our sources, Disney has plans to release the original cut of the Star Wars trilogy on Blu-ray. Our sources indicate that the project has been under way for quite some time, but it’s been challenging because of some damage to the original negatives they are utilizing. The goal is to release A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of Jedi in their complete, unaltered, original form without the redone special edition SFX. Our sources did not have an exact date as to when the original cut of the Star Wars Trilogy would be released on Blu-ray, due to the challenges Disney has encountered in pulling everything together.
