Lionsgate is taking legal action against the anonymous individuals who shared online an advance copy of The Expendables 3 , starring Sylvester Stallone . The film company filed a lawsuit in California federal court against "John Does 1-10." Lionsgate reports learning on July 24 that a digital file containing a high-quality reproduction of the film had been stolen and uploaded to the Internet. The Expendables 3 has reportedly crossed more than a million downloads already. All of the copies circulating online are said in the lawsuit to be traced to the original stolen digital file. The lawsuit targets the operators behind limetorrents.com, billionuploads.com, hulfile.eu, played.to, swantshare.com and dotsemper.com and uses language that's similar to past mass "Doe" complaints against torrent users. TV Review: Tyrant “Preventative Medicine” By: Brandon Wolfe After a few episodes attempting, and failing, to craft riveting television out of political intrigue, ‘Tyrant’ moves to that most tried-and-true method of grabbing viewers: murder. Truth be told, it mostly helps. “Preventative Medicine” holds our interest more than episodes of this series generally have. The introduction of juicier stakes for the characters, actions and decisions of more immediate interest to the viewing audience than the legacy-building and political chess games the show usually feeds us, gives ‘Tyrant’ a bit of kick in the seat. Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone will star in the comedy set in the music world while Schaffer and Taccone will co-direct. The trio behind " Dick in a Box ", " Like a Boss " and "I'm on a Boat" will be bringing their comedic and musical talents to the big screen. Universal has acquired an untitled project with The Lonely Island (comprised of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone ). They will also star in the comedy, which is set in the music world. Judd Apatow is producing via his Judd Apatow Productions banner, along with Samberg, Schaffer and Taccone. Universal’s senior vp of production Erik Baiers will oversee the project for the studio. The comedy group The Lonely Island found fame for their work on Saturday Night Live, where Samberg was a cast member and Schaffer and Taccone were writers.
