ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY Trailer Is Here

Here is the trailer and new stills for Disney's ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner. Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander ( Ed Oxenbould ) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom ( Jennifer Garner ), dad ( Steve Carell ), brother ( Dylan Minnette ) and sister ( Kerris Dorsey ) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn't had one. Watch the trailer & see the new images after the Jump...

Win Ticket To An Advance Screening For #Godzilla In Sacramento

Win Tickets To An Advance For Godzilla on May 12, 2014 7:30 pm in Sacramento at Regal Natomas Stadium 16. See how to win tickets after the Jump... It’s fair to say that while the San Francisco tourist board are happy to encourage visitors to check out the city’s many attractions and features, we’re certain they won’t be too pleased that a massive beast is stomping through town causing untold damage. And we do mean massive; comparing this version to the Transamerica Pyramid there in the foreground, which is 850ft. / 260m tall, would suggest ginormity. For comparison, last summer's Pacific Rim kaiju topped out at 181m long, and the Godzilla here seems to be roughly twice as big. Unless, of course, the poster designer has gone a little nuts here and done the monster equivalent of giving him heel-lifts. That’s just one element of the film, which finds Monsters director Gareth Edwards updating the creature feature with a little help from the likes of Bryan Cranston, Elizabe

DON PEYOTE Review. No Matter How Much You Want To Look Away You Can’t.

DON PEYOTE Review By: Sue Being something completely unlike anything else is normally a good thing for a film. Being a film that makes a viewer go “ What the @$%# was that? ” is what Don Peyote does. Don Peyote is like watching an acid trip slowly unfolding as it delves further in delusion and grandeur with a great message at its core, that youre not quite sure if it’s there or if it’s the drugs talking. It’s like a trainwreck that you can’t take your eyes off of, and no matter how much you want to look away you can’t. Don Peyote is the story of Warren Allman ( Dan Fogler ), an unemployed stoner who has everything and nothing at all. He’s an unemployed graphic artist who spends his days getting high with an apple pipe, while “looking” for a job while being accosted by some surreal and vivid dreams, and helping his fiancé plan their wedding. On the way a party he is knocked down and sweated on by a homeless man, which must contain the same hallucinatory properties of a psychoact

Does Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Deserve Season 2?

The series gets a second season, but does it deserve one? Story by: Matt Cummings Despite sporting a continually declining ratings base and failure to capitalize on many aspects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ABC has renewed Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a second season.  The renewal was announced on May 5th, in preparation for ABC's Upfront Event on Tuesday May 13th. While we've never been entirely sold on the series's flat characters and overall cheesy tone, we were most disappointed in its inability to maximize the gains behind Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World .  In fact, many were ready to call the show dead in the water after enduring the mostly unwatchable 12 episodes leading up to the Captain America: The Winter Solider tie-ins.  Since that time, AoS has delivered solid episodes one week and filler ones the next, as Coulson and team attempt to pick up their shattered lives post-HYDRA.  The revelations of Ward as a HYDRA agent

“Quicksilver” Clip From X-Men: Days Of Future Past

A common thread following early screenings of X-Men: Days of Future Past has been how impressive one particular scene, in which Quicksilver rescues Magneto from captivity, is. Capitalizing on the buzz, a new promo for the movie offers glimpses at the high speed jailbreak. Watch the clip after the Jump... Introduced by a monologue from Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier, the new “Quicksilver” promo mixes Evan Peters’ introduction to the team — as glimpsed in an earlier trailer — with snippets from his rescue of Magneto from incarceration, giving the slightest of tastes of what to expect from watching the super-speedster in action. Watching the video’s inventive take on the basic super power of “doing things very fast,” it looks as if the X-Men incarnation of the character may set the bar pretty high for Joss Whedon’s competitive take in next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Perhaps having two Quicksilvers could end up being a good thing after all. Please Leave A Comment- S

Neighbors Review: Side-Splitting and Outrageously Funny

Neighbors could be instant comedy genius, but we'll let your obscene laughter be the judge. Story by: Matt Cummings There are a few comedies that resonate so well with audiences that they become highly-quotable pop culture treasures, carrying on far longer than the movie which inspired them. The original Anchorman , Ted , and The Watch are a few recent ones that come to mind. We think the next to enter such rarefied air will be Neighbors , a fiercely unapologetic, exceptionally dirty production that almost enjoys rolling in its own crass and filth like a happy pig.  We're almost embarrassed it didn't initially make our May Movie List . Mac (Seth Rogan) and Kelly (Rose Byrne) are newly with child, an adorable little girl with enough personality and looks to fill their newly-purchased first home. The area is quiet and filled with good neighbors, and prospects to fill the vacant house next door are high. That all changes when the Delta Psy Kappa fraternity
