The Expendables 3 Roll Call Trailer

Is this the end of the road for Sly and the boys? In this new exclusive "roll call" for this summer's " The Expendables 3 ," a title card boldly announces that Barney Ross, aka co-writer and star Sylverster Stallone , and his team are back together for "One Last Ride." But if they are going out, it's with a bang (and a boom, and more than a few ka-pows). And they are bringing along some new — but very familiar — faces. Headlining the expanded cast is Mel Gibson , as Barney's ex-partner and current nemesis Conrad Stonebanks (how's that for a villain name?), and Harrison Ford , looking right at home as he pilots a helicopter (something the action veteran can do in real life, by the way). Other new team members: Stallone's "Assassins" co-star Antonio Banderas ; his "Demolition Man" co-star Wesley Snipes ; and Kelsey Grammer (no, really!). To properly battle a foe as formidable as Stonebanks, Barney must bring in

Charlene Amoia To Star In Vitals

How I Met Your Mother's Charlene Amoia faces her fears with upcoming horror lead She may be best known for her wildly-funny and super-sweet turn on a hit TV show, but How I Met Your Mother's Charlene Amoia is about to shake-up the cocktail that his on-screen persona. The actress behind Wendy , Barney's former love interest on the CBS hit, is shredding her bright and bubbly act for one of 2014's most anticipated fright-flicks, Vitals. Already being compared to the now-classic Saw , the upcoming release tells the unnerving story of a man who wakes up in a bathtub to discover his organs have been stolen, and it's up to his doctor wife ( Amoia ) to help solve the bloody puzzle. Funnily enough, Amoia is horror movie-phobic - noting that she distances from any film or series that's strategy is to scare. It goes without saying then, that she hadn't even seen Saw. "I'm not a fan of scary things", Amoia said in a recent set intervie

Fast & Furious 7 Production For Has Started Back Up

Reeling from the tragic death last November of star Paul Walker , the team behind the seventh Fast & Furious film opted to put production on hiatus and shift the release date to 2015 to accommodate necessary changes. Now, via director James Wan’s Instagram account , we know that they’re back at work. With writer Chris Morgan handed the time to drastically alter the script and change the plot to account for the sudden disappearance of Walker’s character Brian O’Connor from the film, shooting has geared back up again in Abu Dhabi. There has been no statement from either Universal or regular F&F cheerleader Vin Diesel on what might be done to the film to work around Walker’s absence, and while rumours have surfaced about body doubles and CG to complete his scenes, nothing official has emerged. What we do know is that Diesel , alongside the current regular cast including Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez , will be around with more recent addit

The Pirate Fairy Blu-ray Review

The Pirate Fairy Blu-ray Review By: Sue With the completion of the seasons with Secret of Wings , Disney's latest Tinkerbell movie doesn't have a season theme or even center around Tinkerbell, but instead the Pirate Fairy, Zelena. Although straight to DVD like the rest of the Tinkerbell franchise has been, it boast some major star power in Christina Hendricks as the title character and Tom Hiddleston as one of the main supporting characters, and comes through shining with the same visuals as its predecessors. We've seen Tinkerbell's group of friends expand over the last four films to cover all of the different fairy talents including: fast flying, animal, light, water, and garden, even the addition of Winter fairies, but this time the focus is on the dust fairies. Zelena ( Hendricks ), like Tinkerbell, is far more curious than her superiors could ever wish, rather than focusing her attention on lost things like Tink, her attention is on her specialty: pi

Norman Reedus Cast In Triple Nine.

The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus will spend his hiatus from the AMC show in the stellar ensemble cast of Triple Nine , the John Hillcoat-directed heist film that begins production this summer. Open Road Films pre-bought domestic distribution rights just prior to Berlin and will release the film wide next year. Reedus , who just completed his fourth season playing Daryl Dixon, joins Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Winslet, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul, Teresa Palmer , and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman in the Batman Vs. Superman film). Matt Cook scripted the thriller, in which a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist. The only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down.” Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action-packed finale filled with double-crosses, greed and revenge. TV Review: From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series “Let’s Get Ramblin"

TV Review: From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series “Let’s Get Ramblin" By: Brandon Wolfe ‘From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series’, in its questionable gambit to take a 108-minute movie and expand it into a 10-hour season of television, has thus far vacillated between two modes with each episode. The first mode is to take a brief scene from the film and insulate it out into a full hour, bloating a kernel of an idea into an overstuffed cannoli. The second is to strike a balance between doing a slavish, inflated cover version of the film and carving out its own unique additions to the mythology to make something old new again. As recently as last week, the second, preferable mode was starting to take hold, but “Let’s Get Ramblin’” regresses frustratingly to the first mode, and is probably the worst offender in this regard since the pilot. We reach the leg of the story where the Gecko brothers finally cross paths with the Fuller family and forcibly adopt them as a means of getting to Mex

TV Review: Justified "Starvation" By: Brandon Wolfe

TV Review: Justified "Starvation" By: Brandon Wolfe After a season beset by a certain narrative aimlessness, ‘Justified’ spends its penultimate episode moving its pieces together for its final play, and the positions many of the characters find themselves in this week are tantalizingly dark. As the heroes, villains and those in between march toward the season finale, none find themselves in a good place, and even those with the upper hand have come by it at great cost to their souls. In the aftermath of Picker’s death by explosion, Wynn Duffy is interrogated by the henchmen of Mexican cartel big-shot Mr. Yoon, who is seeking Boyd Crowder’s head (skin, technically) due to the mess made in Mexico several episodes back. Duffy claims that he has killed Boyd and can deliver Boyd’s accomplice, Darryl Crowe Jr., to the men in exchange for sparing Duffy’s own life. Duffy turns to Boyd himself for help tracking Darryl down, which he feels is fair considering his role in ge
