The CW today announced the broadcast television premiere of the four-hour event miniseries LABYRINTH , airing across two consecutive nights on Thursday, May 22 (8:00-10:00pm ET) and concluding Friday, May 23 (8:00-10:00pm ET). Lily Collins is in negotiations to star in How to Be Single , New Line’s romantic comedy being directed by Christian Ditter. Drew Barrymore is producing the romantic comedy. If a deal goes through (there are scheduling issues), the movie would reteam Collins with the director of Love, Rosie, a recently wrapped romantic drama that also stars Sam Claflin and Christian Cooke. Single is based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo, published by Atria in 2008. It is said to be in the vein of New Line’s successful multistory pics such as He’s Just Not That Into You and Valentine’s Day . Luke Bracey has been tapped to star opposite Gerard Butler in Alcon’s remake of Point Break . Bracey will tackle the character of hotshot FBI agent Johnny Utah against Butler’s Bodhi, roles that were seminal to a generation that watched the early 1990s action movie. Bracey is playing the role originated by Keanu Reeves. Ericson Core is directing the movie which has a script by Kurt Wimmer. Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove are producing along with Michael DeLuca, John Baldecchi, Chris Taylor and Wimmer. A summer shoot is being planned. Bracey is a relative unknown Stateside, although he did play the Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He will also be seen in the upcoming Nicholas Sparks adaptation Best of Me. Syfy is canceling Being Human after the fourth season. The NBCUniversal-owned cable network made the official announcement Tuesday, midway through its current 13-episode run. The stars of Being Human,  Sam Huntington, Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath  and  Kristen Hager , issued a thank you to the fans via a two-minute video "Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons and we sincerely thank them and the series’ production company Muse Entertainment for their hard work," Syfy said in a statement announcing the cancellation. "They’ve saved the best for last with the final six episodes that revisit the story’s beginning, leading to a not-to-be-missed send-off for Aidan, Sally, Josh and Nora." For something so huge, the star of the new Godzilla is a remarkably camera shy creature, always seemingly turning his/her/its back whenever anyone tries to take a picture. Worried they won’t capture your best side? It’s fair to say that while the San Francisco tourist board are happy to encourage visitors to check out the city’s many attractions and features, we’re certain they won’t be too pleased that a massive beast is stomping through town causing untold damage. And we do mean massive; comparing this version to the Transamerica Pyramid there in the foreground, which is 850ft. / 260m tall, would suggest ginormity. For comparison, last summer's Pacific Rim kaiju topped out at 181m long, and the Godzilla here seems to be roughly twice as big. Unless, of course, the poster designer has gone a little nuts here and done the monster equivalent of giving him heel-lifts.
